Calella (Catalan pronunciation: [kəˈɫeʎə]) is a seaside city on the Costa del Maresme, 58 km northeast of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is located on the coast between Sant Pol de Mar and Pineda de Mar. Prior to the arrival of tourism in the 1960s, economic activity of the town was primarily focused on textile manufacture and fishing.

This is a funny way to discover the region around Calella. During the bike tour we will ride sometimes near the sea and sometimes through the streets of the neighbouring villages. It is the perfect way to enjoy the sea and the sun. Three stops are planned to taste some typical tapas of the local gastronomy. You need to know how to ride a bike and have some fitness level.

Enjoy a lovely walk of about 10km in the Montnegre Nature Park, just behind the crowed towns of Calella, Pineda de Mar, Santa Susanna and Malgrat de Mar. You need suitable shoes and clothes and an medium fitness condition for a route of about 3-4 hours. Sun cream and water are also necessary. After the route we will enjoy a typical lunch in a local restaurant. Please let us know if there are any intolerances or special diets.

The Tapas Bike Tour was a very funny experience. The tour wasn't very hard, along the beach. The Tapas were delicious and the guide was very attentive, taking care of everybody, explaining a lot about local gastronomy and even making us laugh sharing some curious stories about local customs.

Me and my family went to Barcelona on March. Our Montserrat tour was really awesome. Our tour guide, Maria, was incredible. Smart, funny, great personality. She shared interesting and relevant stories and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I enjoyed the cable car most!
