An ancient city in the Flemish province of West Flanders, Ieper (as it’s known in the Flemish tongue) has enjoyed financial and cultural status since the 12th century. Today, visitors can check out remnants of its impressive past, including ramparts that date back to 1385 and an historic moat, which now is a haven for wildlife. Ieper found itself in the middle of World War I and suffered tremendous damage to all of its buildings, but has been both reconstructed in its medieval style and built up with modern structures.

Reviewed By PhilmcfcJonesStayed at this hotel from 02/06/22 to 05/06/22 and must say it was fantastic, it's in a great location in the town centre and the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent. If you're visiting for the daily act of remembrance the menin gate is about a 400 meter walk and you've got the Flanders museum across the road. Some great bars and restaurants in the immediate area.

Great guys, great accommodation in a great central location in Ypres! We will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful farmhouse situated on the edge of the forest guest house and a stone's throw from Ypres. Private terrace all rooms are located on the ground floor
Not worth its money!
Reviewed By LeenLokeren_Belgium_We had high hopes of this rather new b&b. It looked really good on the website. But... a small, claustrophobic room with absolutely no room for storage, a tiny wonky table, only one armchair, a filthy chalked up kettle covered in dust, a tv with only a few rubbish channels and a disturbed picture, rusty flaky outside furniture, I must say: not done!! One of the worst places we've ever stayed in.

Reviewed By andr_s858B&B is goed ingericht. Onooglijk aan de buitenkant, ingang langs garagepoort. Beetje warrig stopcontact. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ligging zeer centraal in Ieper met zicht op kathedraal en Lakenhal. Geen ontbijt in B&B maar wel zeer lekker in nabijgelegen koffiebar.

Reviewed By YAYA-PARIS20J'ai eu l'amer expérience d'avoir réservé dans cet établissement suite à des avis positifs. J'ai voulu annuler ma réservation suite à plusieurs cas de covid déclarés, je n'allais tout de même pas venir avec ma famille et contaminer tout l'établissement. Un remboursement, un avoir ou même une modification de date ne leur a même pas été envisageable. Leur seules options sont les suivantes: venir et propager le virus au passage ou annuler sans remboursement et avec des frais supplémentaires. Il semblerait qu'il n'ont aucun cas de conscience la pandémie que nous traversons est secondaire comparé à l'argent. Un petit conseil faite en sorte de rester en bonne santé même de manière involontaire avant de réserver chez eux, et surtout de partager un espace avec des gens potentiellement contaminés...
