Sukha Cunda, with 18 rooms, some greet the sacred Mount Ida over the Hasır Island, others face the olive groves and the historic windmill, is a family story created by harmony and collective mind. Our admiration for architecture of Ayvalık's old houses and temples was the biggest inspiration for the hotel design. The interior decoration is created based on old Greek architectural details such local stone ‘sarımsak tası’, blend brick walls, wooden ceilings, traditional tile floor and gourd lamp. In order to provide a comfortable accommodation experience, this unique architecture is enriched with modern touches. In Sanskrit, Sukha means comfortable area and inner peace independent of external conditions. Sukha Cunda is a family owned hotel, based on comfortable, peaceful accommodation motivation and curiosity to travel, discovering, traditional tastes, nature and history.
The hotel is new and the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice, tranquil ambience. The breakfast was delicious and the owners very kind and hospitable. We stayed with our toddler and she had a nice cot bed and loved the breakfast selection. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were very clean, cost was very optimum compared the value they provide. We believe “Turkan Soray” room was best. They put famous people picture on each room door. 5min. to walk city center, easy for car-parking(=they have free-dedicated space) and breaks-fast was marvelous. We believe couple are managing the asset, both of them like bees, non-stop working, serving and trying their best to make all guests fee like. I do not usually type comments for hotels. but this place is rare in terms of genuinely and price-wise optimally with perfect distance to city-center with beautiful staff. We believe they do cleaning by-them-selves at all. I really cannot find negative or hindrance during our 3 night stay.

We came here just for one day and it was so nice. Location: Cunda (Alibey) Island (just 7-8 min drive away from the centre or you can walk there via shortcut in 15-20 min) Just on the other side of the centre but away from the crowd and so peaceful. Rooms: Clean, Average size & with balconies. Facilities: Free Parking area, walking distance to the beach, Wi-Fi, Good Breakfast. Staff: Family run business & helpful and friendly people.

You will find herbal teas and books in your rooms that we think you will like. We used Marrakech plaster on the floors to make it a more natural feeling. We tried to give life to this beautiful Rum house without ruining its originality. And now we invite you to feel the Cunda spirit.
Generally it’s rare to find vegan breakfast options so you end up eating tomatoes and olives ,or just cold options, they’re also fine but otel sakin offered me amazing mushroom, patato, spinach combo cooked in olive oil and it was delicious. The last day the owner even bought aubergine borek for me, that was very sweet. Thanks for the hospitality guys, dear vegans no worries you’re gonna be happy here!
