1. Staff is discourteous. Do Not disturb signs mean nothing. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and the housekeeper knocks every time with the sign hanging on the door handle. 2. Hotel does not honor the CLC 24 hour reservation policy. This is in their CLC contract, but is continually ignored. 3. This would be a 3 star hotel if not for the blatant disregard for customer service. The hotel is clean and beds are decent.

Needed a room on short notice and found this motel with good reviews and a decent price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable after a long day of driving in bad weather. They offer a continental breakfast, as well. excellent accommodations, especially for the price. I would definitely stay there again.

Motel 6 Santa Rosa NM is conveniently located off of I-40 exit 277, only 1 mile from the airport. Restaurants are nearby. Amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, micro-fridges in select rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms. This location is 100 % smoke-free.
We were desperate to find a place to stay late at night. SO much freeway noise. Additionally about every 20-30 minutes or so, a car parked in the parking lot would honk 3 times quickly. This went on for hours into the night. The pool was "closed for the season", even though it was June in New Mexico. (We weren't there to use it anyway, just an observation). There is supposedly free coffee in the lobby every morning and no coffee makers in the individual rooms. We left about 5am and there was not coffee in the lobby at that hour. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more

After 12hrs on the road my family and I arrive at this gem for a night's rest! Well after looking at the pics on the website we decided to commit for a night. LMAO! So so so disappointed! (And exhausted) The amount of dirt on the walls and floor made me consider sleeping in our vehicle instantly! The blankets had atleast 20 cigarette ? burns each. The sheets had stains that couldn't even be identified, and let's not forget the hair left behind on the pillowcase! YUM YUM! Speaking of yummy, I counted 6 or more BOOGERS on the bathroom wall as well!!! The caulking looked like it had never seen a clean rag! The crazy part is when the front desk was informed of what we had found her reply was "That can't be, I know that room is clean because I did it myself!" Totally missed the point! Nevertheless we went across the street to La-Quinta and we were very pleased! In conclusion, this place is very unsanitary and should be torn down! Do your job Health Department!!!!!!

This was the worst motel experience of my life. In order of importance: Safety, quality, and Price. Buckle up, this is a long one. Safety: The door didn't lock properly. The deadbolt didn't lock, because the door was warped. No big deal, just use the chain right? Wrong. The chain was not attached securely to the wall. It was screwed to the door frame, but one screw was completely out and the other screw was only in the frame about 1/8 inch. And the door frame was actually falling off the wall. So there was no way to truly lock the door. The shower had a window in it that doesn't fully close, and the bathroom door also didn't close. The main window had a curtain that wasn't wide enough to fully cover the window. In fact, someone in the parking lot would have a clear view of the always-open bathroom. Not a huge deal if people aren't hanging out in the parking lot, but the front desk man spent 90 minutes pacing and hanging out in the parking lot with his dog. He mostly paced around the lot with his dog, passing in front of my room each lap. He also would hang out right in the center "courtyard" thing which was right in front of my room. I kept waiting for him to go back in the office so I could walk my dog, since his was off-leash, but he never did. Eventually I armed myself just in case and walked my dog to the grass/dirt patch by the street and a little ways away from the parking lot. We hung out there for about 30 minutes waiting on an opening to be able to get back to the room without crossing paths with him or his dog. He got on a weird bike and started doing laps slowly, so I tried to time it so we would avoid him, but as soon as I turned the corner, he SPED UP. Wish I was joking. I turned back, but his dog noticed mine and charged her. I stopped his dog, but he said nothing. We went back to the room and I immediately started packing. In total I spent 90 minutes in that motel, and he spent 90 minutes in the parking lot. I went to the office to drop my key off. I was just going to throw it out the car window and GTFO, but I didn't see him anywhere so I got out of the car and knocked on the door. A different person was inside and unlocked the door, but didn't open it. Instead he looked at me, then behind me. THE GUY WAS BEHIND ME. I handed him the key, and left as fast as possible. I've watched way too many horror movies for this mess. Quality: The floor was not complete. Planks were loose, out of place, weird and gappy. The toilet is not secured to the floor. The shower head looks like it has mange. I killed 4 bugs within 2 minutes of walking in. They didn't try to run. I think they were happy to die. Drawers were falling apart. There were holes in the walls, paint chipping, the usual stuff. I obviously did not sleep in the bed, but if a trampoline and an old pair of granny panties had a baby- that baby is the mattress. Outside of the room, it looks just as bad. Dog turds in random parking spots, weird furniture in random places, lots of desk chairs where there are no desks. Price: I booked online without seeing the place first and got a deal of $50 for the night. After tax it was something like $59. I'm seeing that other people paid upwards of $100. After my 90 minute stay, you could not PAY ME to return. This is not a $100, $50, or even $20 motel. This is a motel from a horror movie. That's it. I've stayed in some crappy motels, and I actually enjoy the quirky nature of them. This one made my skin crawl.
