If you are for the business trip and wanted to stay near the factory, choose this hotel. This is fairly a new hotel, guess started in 2013 only. The rooms are bigger with nice wooden decors. English is a problem as it would be with any hotel in this tier-3 city. Breakfast is not too spread, but you can request if you want a different food than in the buffet. For the rate and value, this is the best you can get

I had to visit a company in Qingzhou (en-route from Weifang to Jinan), and somehow I got stuck there for a few hours in Qingzhou, which is a real forsaken city. I used the tripadvisor option to locate hotels nearby, and found Weishi International Hotel, which showed to be a 3-star hotel. With no other options, I tried it, but I wouldn’t give it more than 2 stars. People were smoking almost everywhere, and room was not too clean. Bathroom had a foul smell, and toilet had scars which seemed to be cigarette burns. They call themselves an international hotel, but they didn’t even have English speaking staff. Nevertheless, compared to their price; which was circa US$ 15 per night, I cannot complain too much.

I have stayed in so many hotels in China that I’ve lost count, but this one is such a dump, that I felt I must write this review. Firstly, reception, a blind monkey could do a better job, they are all useless, secondly the room, yes, it’s large, but the shower is useless and the water dribbles out, the towels are threadbare with holes in them, the sheets are with rips and stains, then the air conditioning, it’s noisy and rattles, it’s dirty and in the 3 rooms I’ve been in, doesn’t actually work well enough. Thirdly, it’s dirty, the cleaners seem unable to actually clean, I’ve found pubes and long hairs in the bed, for sure not mine, the floor is cover in dirt and it’s dusty throughout. If you want to stay in Qingzhou, it’s a nice enough city, but avoid this place at all costs, it’s not worth it!!
