More than just a hotel, we aim to bring you the ultimate Adnams and Southwold experience. Whether you’re seeking an indulgent escape, an insight into the crafts of brewing and distilling or a wholesome wellness break, we are ready to welcome you. With Adnams brewery and distillery right on your doorstep, you can be immersed in the wonderful world of beer and spirits, or you can explore Southwold and the stunning countryside surrounding it. Our butlers ensure that you don’t need to lift a finger, they can arrange everything for you from a gin and tonic on arrival to organising some of the best local activities. The Swan is a beautiful place to enjoy, whether it’s for a quick coffee, tasty lunch, a special dinner or a relaxing week away.
We have visited Southwold for over 30 years and enjoyed seeing our daughters have fun on the beach, but couldn't afford to stay in the Swan. Move on a number of years, daughters left home and mortgage paid we can spend a bit on ourselves and the Swan was our first treat. Did we make the right choice ?....yep, great location, great staff who wanted to make our stay just right and nothing was too much. We enjoyed the restaurant on our first night and really enjoyed the food and service, first tip try the malted butter, scrummy. On the second day we opted for the afternoon tea, it was lovely, great value and just kept coming, second tip....don't eat much during the day to keep room for the afternoon tea. The breakfast choice was great and like the other food of great quality ? Third tip, even if the hotel bar, restaurant or lounge looks busy, as a resident the hotel will always find room for you...makes you feel special. We stayed in room 25, and even at nearly 6ft 3" I found cooking my leg into the bath quite a step, so tip four, shorties you have been warned ⚠️ The room was large and comfortable and spick and spam by the cleaning team and after a busy day a lovely quiet retreat ? Some recommendations for the hotel for room 25....1/ nowhere to put your towel when showering. There is a large wooden panelled area, screw a towel ring or hook to it. 2/ the hose for the shower is too short (you can get longer ones) and there is ample travel on the shower head hanger. 3/ pillows, you only supply either feather or hollow fibre, no choice if you prefer a firmer pillow, most hotels now offer more choice. 4/ no information about the hotel etc left in the room, sure you could go online, but don't always want to look at a screen.

A boutique hotel set in a medieval building in the beautiful seaside town of Southwold. Included in THE TIMES; 30 coolest hotels on the coast. April 2016
Shocking customer service. Defensive attitude with no understanding or empathy for the situation. Could have handled the same issue with kindness and rationale, with some potential alternative solutions, but instead was aggressive and rude. Don’t bother.

The Randolph is a family run hotel in the village of Reydon just a short stroll from nearby SOUTHWOLD. You will be assured of a relaxing and peaceful stay in our friendly 'local'.
This is a lovely place to stay. Unfussy, unpretentious, friendly staff and fabulous food. Our room(11), was on the 2nd floor and was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and had a separate bath and shower. Homemade shortbreads were delicious. Homemade preserves at breakfast were a lovely touch and we couldn't fault the food at all, everything was great. We chose to include dinner on both nights we stayed at the hotel and are really pleased that we did as it was so good. On the Saturday the hotel had a large private party plus a smaller hen party but still provided really good service and it didn't impact on us at all. We would definitely stay here again. Southwold is only a 15 minute walk away, and the whole area is lovely.

Simple, yet stylish. The Blyth offers comfortable, well decorated bedrooms, all en-suite with a popular bar and AA Rosette awarded restaurant. A perfect, family friendly base for your stay in the beautiful town of Southwold. Contemporary seaside hospitality at its best - personal service from a friendly and experienced team of staff.
The Blyth Hotel is still understandably finding its feet after the pandemic but it is lacking in a few areas. Hannah was extremely efficient and friendly at check in when the doors were finally unlocked. Our room and bed was on the small side for two people but was clean on arrival. Tea and coffee making facilities were available and we could have requested more if needed. The pillows were very thin and everything seemed just a little lacking. The blind was very pretty but extremely thin and there was no black out blind which meant we woke at around 5am in a very bright room. Breakfast was good and once again the staff were all very friendly and efficient.
