Reviewed By Jason CEasy check-in, the room was clean and as expected/described. Perfect base for exploring the area. Very friendly staff. When I visited, the main street in the village had construction, so access/parking was limited.

Reviewed By LeChat_EnVacancesLOCATION: Hotel de la COURONNE is located at No.3 Rue du 23 Juin, beside Porte St-Pierre (main entrance to the quaint medieval village). The shuttle bus that takes you to & from Saint-Ursanne train station stops right outside the Hotel. The Abbaye & Cloître de St-Ursanne and Musée Lapidaire are a quick 5-min stroll away. The iconic Pont St-Jean Népomucène is at far end of the village, as is the Jura Tourisme Office (situated in Maison de la Dîme). However, St-Ursanne is a small village so all places of interest are within easy walking distance from the Hotel. ROOM: clean & spacious Comfort Twin Room with 2 big windows overlooking the main street but no issue with street noise. Simply furnished with: twin beds; pair of bedside tables with reading lamps; small desk with chair; wall-mounted flat-screen TV; sofa; and a metal open-shelving unit. No tea-making facilities nor safe-deposit box in room but there’s complimentary bottled water. Beds were clean & comfy but bed linen had a strong, lingering scent of laundry detergent or fabric softener. Pillows were the soft, floppy kind typically found in Swiss hotels, would have preferred firmer ones with better neck support. BATHROOM: spacious, bright & airy with windows offering a partial view of ancienne muraille. Furnished with the usual: mirror over wash basin; hairdryer; shower stall and toilet. There was good supply of hot water & adequate water pressure. Minimal provision of toiletries: liquid hand-soap; sachets of body wash & shampoo, box of tissue & toilet rolls. F&B: room rate was inclusive of daily breakfast which is served 8-10 am in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet comprises: bread & croissants; jams & butter; yoghurt; assorted cheese & cold cuts; fresh fruits & juices; coffee & tea. SERVICE: No Reception Desk at the Hotel so Check-In & Check-Out are conducted in its restaurant. The staff here apparently do not speak any English, they seemed to converse only in French. Despite the language barrier, I managed to get by with my limited vocabulary & atrocious pronunciation. In SHORT: Saint-Ursanne only has a few accommodation options and Hotel de la COURONNE is a good choice in terms of location & value for money. You will enjoy clean, spacious & comfortable rooms and a generous buffet breakfast at reasonable rates.

A great place out in the nature
Reviewed By 8623PaulineSWe spent a couple of nights at Tariche as part of our Swiss Grand Tour, staying in one of the superior chalets. Tariche is in a very idyllic spot right next to the River Doubs, a few kilometres out of St Ursanne. But it feels like you are away from all the worries of the world. Chalets are well appointed with all the gear you need for cooking - but there is a Restaurant adjacent to Tariche - oh bliss. Service is very efficient and friendly - if you need something just ask - and staff will get it for you. Nice showers, nice seating outside the cottage - under a roof and good wi-fi. Really we could not have wished for a nicer place and better service.Just watch the mosquitoes.

A quelques pas du Doubs et de la vieille ville, profitez de vous reposer dans notre établissement. Elise sera ravie de vous accueillir chez elle, dans l’appartement indépendant rénové ou dans l’une des 4 chambres neuves, tout-confort et douillettes. La cuisine couverte extérieure sera à votre disposition pour y partager un repas au bord du Doubs. Dans ce grand coin de verdure, la pelouse vous invite à faire un match de badminton. Vous vous plairez également à faire un saut dans la piscine à la belle saison ou lire sous les arbres fruitiers, tout cela dans la tranquillité des bords du Doubs. Durant la saison froide, un jacuzzi extérieur sera à votre disposition afin de vous détendre. Le petit-déjeuner, pris sur les terrasses lors des beaux jours, est composé de produits locaux, bio pour la plupart, frais et fait maison.

Reviewed By CedL68Notre séjour dans ce B & B a été excellent : chambres pratiques, agréables et récemment rénovées, accueil très sympathique, petit déjeuner composé de très bons produits locaux, emplacement lumineux et calme. Nous recommandons vivement pour tout séjour dans la région.
