Relaxing stay
Reviewed By Liz MLuck was with us regarding the weather. We were able to make good use of the relaxing gardens. We were encouraged to pick cherries from one of the trees. Had an evening meal. The owners fully took into account my allergies and did us proud.

Three Bed and Breakfast bedrooms in a charming, spacious and comfortable country house with a 2 1/2 acre park. Located in the calm and secluded hamlet of Chez Ferret & surrounded by woods, sunflower fields and vineyards, it is only 3 km from the Charente River towns of Saint Savinien and Taillebourg. 200m² of indulging comforts, antiques & original decoration awaiting inside. Continental breakfast is included in your room fee and is served in the conservatory overlooking the garden. A perfect house for large groups!

Reviewed By ChristoffSussexValerie was very welcoming and smiley.Our room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Indeed the whole house was these things. It was ancient and full of interesting pictures and furniture. The garden was lovely and it was a pleasure to sit there and enjoy the plentiful breakfast with good coffee and home made jams. Valerie gave helpful advice about local restaurants for dinner. We hope to be able to return and stay a little longer. Fantastic value for the price.

Seven confortable bedrooms, each with bathrooms, television. In the center of village. At the restaurant, superb modern "french cuisine" is served and follows the rythm of the seasons.

Reviewed By Claire Cwe were pleased with the hotel as it was quiet and clean. the staff very welcoming and friendly. the tv was very difficult to use because of a very complicated system with 2 separate remotes the meal in the restaurant was not prepared well and we felt the price to be inflated for what was served. I can recommend the hotel but definitely not the restaurant

Quai des Fleurs is a "maison de maitre" from the early 19th century in Saint Savinien on the banks of the river Charente, where we welcome you all year round. We have renovated the house recently, finding furniture in brocantes as well as buying some new pieces to give it an overall feel that is a mix of arty, cosy, seasidy, riversidy... We are both artists.

Reviewed By anitafigoWe stayed at Laurence and Steve's place with our family of 4 and spent the best 2 nights of our 3 weeks European vacation! Such lovely rooms, beautifully decorated, super comfy and perfectly clean. The mattresses are so welcoming we slept non stop for ten hours! Great breakfast which included english scones and gorgeous french bread. Laurence and Steve are lovely, lovely people. The house is huge and silent, it has two lovely gardens, one by the riverside! Also, the front of the house has got a shop where the work of the owners is displayed: Laurence's beautiful artisan jewelry and Steve's amazing paintings! I highly recommend staying at Quai des Fleurs: a place full of art, nature and magic!

Great for inexpensive large group stay
Reviewed By 204ginatIf you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is clean and nice property this is a great choice. We went for a family reunion with a large group. Everyone stayed in different houses and the kids had a ball. They have peddle go carts the kids can ride all around the property and a very nice pool with shallow area for small kids. It is also 5 min from the cutest mini boat and activity park for kids. Our kids (all ages) loved that park and their stay here.

La location de l'étage supérieure est vaste (salon chambre et sanitaires). - literie irréprochable. - la décoration réfléchie, la végétation sur la terrasse est rafraichissante. - le petit déjeuner : conventionnel et de qualité.
