Reviewed By 731sheriWe were passing through the area and found this great deal that had friendly service and comfortable beds. Great combination! There is some construction going on but they put us on the third floor and construction was on the first. Also construction was completed by 5p.m. I would recommend this place for sure.

You Can Do Better Than This Place
Reviewed By Afka0414The lobby shows upgrade attempts with lighting, new front desk and a snack area, but once you enter the hallway, its dark and dreary with old carpets. The room was promising, like the photos. The bed was really comfortable, just needed some better pillows. The bathroom, well that was not in the photos. The tile was painted and peeling in the shower and the water pressure was lukewarm and weak. Would not recommend even for one night.

Reviewed By 32campamsterdamThe parking lot hasnt been cleaned in years.There are piles of cigarette butts all over.Lots of section 8 people live there.The room I stayed in was 208.It smelled when you first walked in. There was red spots on 1 of the towels. Probably blood.I used my own towel.Cigarette burns along the tub.There was so much hair in the sink and tub the water hardly went down.I got a stick from outside to clean it out.I got woken up at 3am by the cops they were looking for someone in the next room over.The air conditioning only worked on high so i had to use the chairs to block the air coming out. Im totally disgusted by the owners of these motels that they allow paying customers to stay like this. You have to do more than just put the soap and shampoo on the counter. Go to Doswell va down the road there are nice hotels there.A little more money but worth it and you get a decent cont breakfast.

Dilapidated and Disgusted
Reviewed By 282garyvSo exit 104 off I-95 used to have low gas prices and it is where I pick up Rte. 207 to U.S. 301 up the MD Eastern Shore. Plus it is a good time to stop after about 12 -14 hours of 20 -21 hour drive from St Petersburg, FL to Swansea, MA. So as I was driving I booked the Knights Inn in Ruther Glen. I almost pulled right out after pulling in and stepping inside the "aromatic doorway" awaiting the services of the Indian lady." I got first room #105. Room was nasty starting with NO PHONE! TV didn't work and it was nasty, stunk. Got moved to 2nd floor and popped into room. TV worked as did internet and there was a phone. Alas, it didn't work. The beds were "pre-sunken" so not comfortable but I was held in place. Bathroom fan was loud and nasty. Put it this way with gas prices way up and being on a fixed income I couldn't eat $80 for a nasty motel room. Never again... sent complaint to hotel chain management. Don't expect them to do anything but hey there loss as people read reviews, then stay elsewhere> Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Reviewed By ddeang859988Dirty, unsanitary, sheets dirty, stinky. Probably not changed by previous customer. Place was grimy. Shower curtain rod broken, deadbolt on door broken-hanging. Places can be old and outdated but still maintain cleanliness. This place is old, outdated and not clean.

Not worthy of a stay
Reviewed By stevied4We were traveling to New Jersey through DC and stopped at this Super 8 because I am a Wyndham member. When we first pulled in we were concerned about multitude of trucks around the hotel. We checked in fine with the help of a lovely woman. But once in the room we realized that the room was disgusting!! The carpet has greasy shoe stains. It’s so so old and dirty that it’s impossible to clean. Plus the love seat and furniture looks like it’s been pulled from a dumpster. Two nice things. 1. Bed was comfortable and the shower/tub was retrofitted. But otherwise it’s the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in.
