Great potential, in dire need of competent management
Reviewed By Michel vWe arrived for a one night stay on our way back home to Barcelona coming from France. Our intention was to have a nice and quite evening in the mountains. To our surprise the hotel and all amenities where taken over by a children's party, including a jumping castle. So we decided to take a pre-dinner drink inside, but the bar was not open yet. We had to wait for the restaurant to open at 7:30 pm before being able to get a drink. As the restaurant appears to be managed independently from the hotel ( mind you, this is a small hotel), at reception they could not make a reservation at the restaurant. Upon inquiring at the restaurant, they told us it was fully booked. Pity, as we had no intention to drive off again to have dinner somewhere else. But we did and all was fine. Upon our return, we realized that our room was right under the restaurant, so it took another 1 1/2 hours before we could get to sleep. Same happened during the morning, as breakfast was also served there with all the noise that entails. We checked out at 11:00am but decided to stay around a bit to read and enjoy the now quite scenery. At 12:30pm, the staff from the restaurant came up to me with the bill of the pre-dinner drinks (apparently this was not on the hotel bill), with my passport!!!. So upon check-out they had not returned my passport nor mentioned that they had given it to the restaurant (under separate management). Clearly a breach of privacy. I think this hotel and restaurant at some point in the past must have been a real jewel, but it has slipped to a place where it's not clear anymore what it wants to be. They better make up their mind, as you can't be everything to everybody.

Reviewed By 97krisMy boyfriend and I booked a night here because we had hoped to explore the Nuria Valley. We booked months in advance. GPS in the rental car could not find the place and it was incredibly difficult to locate. We got lucky and a local neighbor led us to the street. Then when we arrived there was a chain across the gate. It wasn’t locked so we opened the chain, drove up the driveway inly to be greeted by two barking and growling aggressive dogs. After two teen boys took the dogs in without noticing us, we went to the office to find a ‘closed’ sign on the door. Inn keepers reported via email that they were closed, had no notice that we were coming and the date we booked should not have been available online. Tried working through customer service to get a refund but it was far easier to just call my credit card company when I got home. On impression, this is someone’s farmhouse in the middle of no where.

Lovely stay
Reviewed By GreenEasiWe stayed for one night at Cal Sadurni. Ideal location to break up a journey through the Pyrenees and well located for walking in the mountains and access to Ribes de Fraser/train to higher mountains. Fantastic friendly service from our host with a welcoming plate of snacks and wine on arrival. Beautiful old farm house and our room was very comfortable. The accommodation is well positioned with amazing views over the valley. Breakfast was delicious with freshly made baked croissants and ensaimadas. Highly recommend.

Me esperaba mas
Reviewed By acd24Fuimos en familia al Serrat. A priori, las casas son preciosas por fuera, el paisaje es ideal y el entorno es excepcional. Me he quedado un poco decepcionado, por dentro la casa esta completamente antigua, baño y mobiliario muy antiguo, la comodidad es justa en este sentido, Los precios son altos y debería tener un mayor confort. La TV no se veía bien, y el WIFI no funcionada. Dado que vienes a relajarte un fin de semana, si le sumas que estaba lloviendo y nevando, pues te apetece estar en casa conectarte a internet o ver la tv . Tengo que añadir, que la zona para hacer barbacoa esta desastrosa. Las guias para poner las parrillas, casi todas rotas.. los utensilios muy muy sucios y viejos... no se... me esperaba mucho mas. Tengo que decir que la atención recibida ha sido buena y que el abono del 15% que nos hicieron por todos estos temas no me ha hecho quitarme esta decepción, aun así, gracias . No recomiendo este lugar , una buena reforma y adecuar todo al siglo en el que estamos es lo que le hace falta.

Reviewed By puffettabluSi trova appena fuori paese. Non ha negozietto all'interno. È un campeggio molto piccolo quindi i bagni e la doccie son limitate. Il tutto è abbastanza pulito. Ha un bel salone per l'inverno con caminetto, tavolate e giochi a disposizione. Corrente non compresa nelle piazzole, un po cara!!!

Muy buen anfitrión y buen lugar para una noche
Reviewed By Isidro OUna casa rural en un barrio de Planoles, a unos quince minutos andando desde la estación de tren. Es una casa antigua en una zona muy tranquila y aislada del centro del pueblo y nos pareció perfecta para una noche. Nuestra habitación era triple, equipada con todo lo que necesitábamos, aunque con algo de olor a cerrado y algo húmeda. Lo mejor fue el buen trato y ayuda de Víctor, el anfitrión y guía de montaña y actividades, que nos aconsejó y trató de maravilla. Incluso nos acercó al camping Can Fosses en coche por la mañana, desde donde nuestra ruta empezaba. El desayuno fue muy bueno y perfecto.
