Stunningly beautiful property, located in the heart of the Marunouchi business district, with sweeping views of the palace grounds and of downtown. Even among the extremely high level of quality common in Tokyo hotels of this class, this relatively new addition is a standout. Impeccable service, beautiful decor, and flawless guestrooms.

Guests will also be given the option of apartments that come with the signature Japanese tatami mattress for those seeking an authentic experience.
The room was great but the service was rather poor. We tried to cook but forgot buying salt and pepper. We asked the hotel to share some from the restaurant but they refused. I think they should at least try their best not to say no to hotel guests.

Authentic Japanese omotenashi hospitality in the heart of Tokyo From the moment guests arrive and slip off their shoes to step onto fragrant tatami mats, HOSHINOYA Tokyo, in the prestigious Otemachi district, promises sublime and authentic Japanese ryokan hospitality.
A unique and relaxing urban ryokan concept in Tokyo -- truly a one-of-a-kind. The top quality traditional Japanese furnishings and finishes were well-complemented by the high service standards provided by the HOSHINOYA Tokyo team who worked hard to accommodate guests' comfort, from delicious in-house prepared meals to customized activities such as kendo exercises, yukata-wearing, tea ceremony, Otemachi city walks, and sake-tasting. A wonderful ometenashi experience.

I stayed here in November when it was super rainy. Granted you have the entrance to Takebashi Metro station right outside the door, but there are no lifts from the underground - only long flights of stairs, so it will be difficult with heavy luggage. Also, the same category of single rooms have 2 types - one at the long side of the building with much bigger space, and one more type at the shorter side of the building with much lesser space. As for the toilet in the rooms - some rooms are more updated, compared to the others, so the washlet toilets are much better, whereas the older ones aren't as good. Other than that, I think it's a fairly standard business hotel -nothing fancy. Also, if you book a twin room, make sure to write TWIN there - they gave me a double bed for my twin room, which made for some laughs when my friend and I checked in.
