Hidden provincial gem
Reviewed By ashevcLocated deeply in rural area and is little known. To the hotel complex belong several buildings which leave mixed impression. Guest accommodation, event rooms and restaurant are not under one roof. - The historical house, which walls are over 11 centuries old, is used for events. It is truly a hidden gem with 5* and absolutely worth visiting. It is lovingly renovated and has imposing interiors - fantastic Knight Hall, beautiful central wooden staircase, chimneys - and posses special romantic flavor, particularly in evening light. Well-kept garden with pond complement the ensemble. - Guest rooms are located in another contemporary building and contrast with Castle-style. This part is rather 3*: clean but small rooms with narrow bathroom, old fitting carpets (a problem for allergy suffers), worn-out furniture, no tee facilities. - The restaurant is pretty mediocre. Food without soul. The hotel also has wellness areas with sauna and a big sport hall. The place is well suitable for events,and seminars or for a short stay. Big disadvantage - extremely poor connection with public transportation, even taxi is a problem. It's also a pity that historical facts about the Castle are not well presented...

Nice hotel and restaurant serving traditional German dinner
Reviewed By Jane JWe stayed at this hotel for three nights. The rooms were very basic but the surroundings were nice. There were horses in the back yard and a play ground for the children. The breakfast was basic, yoghurts, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh bread and cheese, ham, jam. Orange juice. The rooms were very clean. But I can't say that the beds were particularly comfortable. Only 25 minutes car drive from Weissenhäuser Strand and 50 minutes from Lübeck. You get to see the German contry side and be offline for a while because there is hardly any coverage for mobile phones.

Reviewed By Fritz-Dieter CBin angenehm überrascht worden! Das Zimmer groß, Massivholzmöbel, also Landhotel-Flair, das Frühstück völlig ok mit frischen Brötchen, das Abendessen schmackhaft bis deftig. Ein großer hauseigener Parkplatz rundet den positiven Eindruck ab!

Reviewed By Toni KDie gemütliche Pension zeichnet sich durch Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und Gemütlichkeit aus. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Die Gastgeber sind unkompliziert, zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sauber, gross und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Gute Lage, genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus.

Leider nicht zu emfehlen!! Finger weg!
Reviewed By deget52Ich bin Geschäftlich hier für eine woche untergekommen und leider ist es auf keinen fall emfehlenswert! Fangen wir mit den Positiven sachen an: + Kostenlos W-LAN Jetzt die Negativen sachen: - Sehr unfreundliche Gastgeber die auch zum teil schwer zu erreichen sind! - Dreckische Teppische in den Zimmern - Züge fahren jede hable stunde und dadurch wackelt das ganze Zimmer! - Bettbezüge werden nicht jeden Tag gewechselt! - Frühstück war für mich immer so das ich noch grad satt wurde! - Kein respect vor Vegetarier (Man wird angeguckt als ob man vom Mars kommt) - Die Toilette riecht undangenehm bei warmen Wetter (ohne sie benutzt zu haben) - Man hört alles was im Nachbarzimmer geschiet! Sehr nervent und daducht auch KEINE PRIVATSPHÄRE!!!!!! Kurz gefasst: Auf keinen fall empfehlenswert für Menschen die Geschäftlich unterwegs sind und einen leichten schlaf haben! Leider Finder weg! Vielen Dank!
