Beautiful location, grounds and property. Sleeping spaces not suitable for a family with young children.
Reviewed By Leah_14The property had beautiful gardens, lovely outdoor space (including the pool) and was very charming. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It took a day or so for the heating to warm the house but after that, the house was warm and cosy. Service was great if there were any problems. We understood the property to be two bedrooms. In fact it was one bedroom with a mezzanie sleeping space that had a large low beam across the middle. Access to the space was unsuitable for small children (a steep narrow staircase on a stone floor), and meant that we were effectively all sleeping in one space. As others have mentioned, the property is 30 minutes up a very twisty road. We enjoyed being in a quieter and lusher part of the island but did tire of the driving after two weeks. The local village Fontaneles was essentially closed with only one restaurant. Moya, 15 minutes away had cafes and shops but was a very quiet town. This is a great property if you don't want to be in a touristy area, enjoy wildlife, and want a quiet holiday. As the property is one of three all next to each other (and a further cave house on the estate), we thought this would be a fantastic place to come with family or friends all renting the proprties.

Reviewed By gabig934Wir haben 3 Übernachtungen im Jocio Hostal in Moya verbracht. Das 120 Jahre alte Haus hat der Eigentümer komplett saniert und als Hostal hergerichtet. Besonders gelungen ist die Kombination von Alt und Neu. Das Hostal verfügt über mehrere Sitz-und Aufenthaltsmöglichkeitenim Freien. Ein gemütlicher Innenhof mit Restauration wird auch von Gästen außerhalb gerne besucht. Freitags gibt es ein Essen, dass in der allgemeinen Küche zubereitet wird. Wir konnten in einer Gruppe von jungen Gästen an dem leckeren vegetarischen gemeinsamen Mahl teilnehmen. Alles in allem eine besondere Lokation. Ich habe nur 4 Punkte vergeben, da der Straßenverkehr nachts manchmal stört. Mein Tipp...Ohropax mitnehmen, dann ist das Problem erledigt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder ?
