The name is due to the impressive Towers of Papigo, the five vertical cliffs EUR 700m. about everyone in whose lap is the "Papigo Towers". The guesthouse consists of two buildings, one of which dates from the early 19th century. The view from the terrace that seems to float across the Vikos Gorge, breathtaking, since nothing is interposed optically between the guesthouse and the mountains.

Reviewed By AlexP144Amazing lunch with a breathtaking view! The building and its tiered terraces - all in hewn stone - overlook the gorge and are crowned by soaring peaks (snow covered in early Dec). The interior ambiance is a perfect blend of traditional, vernacular architecture and modern design. The fireplace fire added a homey feel. The menu was of a breath and scope that showcased regional and local products. Everything was cooked to perfection! The service was impeccable - flowing and friendly without being obtrusive. We felt at home (LGBTQ-friendly was to us a very important dimension). We give it our highest recommendation!

Reviewed By Marios GDias Guesthouse is a nice, little guesthouse in Mikro Papigo offering exactly what a visitor needs from his stay at Zagorohoria. Traditional cozy rooms with extra comfortable mattress, fireplace in the room, renovated bathroom and a beautiful patio (part of their adjacent tavern) which offers breathtaking views to Astraka Towers. The breakfast is rich-portioned , we loved the yogurt and jam. Owners are really hospitable and willing to help with everything. We ate at their tavern too, the meals where really tasteful. Value For Money - Recommended

Reviewed By urszulam634Super clean rooms and fairytale design of the interiors. Ideal localization, quiet area and comfortable bed ideal for resting after a long hike in the mountains. Very nice, friendly and most helpful owners. Definitely a place you want to come back to.

The hostel "Pinocchio" is located in the small papigo, in the Zagorohoria of Ioannina under the towers of Astraka. It consists of 6 rooms that can accommodate from 2 to 3 people each. Each room has a large double bed and some of them have a sofa that can accommodate another person. They also have a coffee table, a wireless network and two of them have a fireplace

Reviewed By Mhansen1992Best hotel! We had a amazing night in Mikro Papigko. The highest service level and great view from the Balcony! The staff was so nice and friendly ans understood very good English. Got a free welcome drink (2 beers) and enjoyed the amazing view. Some minor issues with the room (lack of toilet papir) but was fixed in no time! Best regards Mathias
