Perfect location, special atmosphere

The location right next to a beautiful river/forest landscape right out of a Bob Ross painting is just about reason enough to visit this place. We stayed for two nights, the first one we were there all alone. Still we got a very nice buffet for breakfast and were treated really nicely. They have a restaurant with view on the river, which serves as breakfast room fir hotel guests as well. Our room was nothing special but there's enough space and it was clean. The bathroom is rather small though. It's a really special place - go see for yourself!

Reviewed By Mark OBullsjöns camping/Malung have good facilities there are clean and good Malung camping can almost be described as a place where there is a lot of traffic, and where you can NOT let, for example, children walk freely, with the traffic that drives right through the place. If it is quiet you are looking for here, you MUST not take this place The traffic has NOTHING to do with the place, and is often noisy and VERY polluting In the evening and at night there are played music very loudly and extremely until after midnight

Decent enough
Reviewed By IanandHelenStayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. Room was light, clean and airy. Bathroom was clean with walk in shower. Breakfast was reasonable and the meals in the restaurant at night were also of a reasonable standard. Staff at all levels very pleasant. I’d stay here again if I was in the area.

Reviewed By claes aPå utsidan är hotellet lite risigt MEN på insidan är det helrenoverat. Hotellet är mycket välstädat och rent. Frukostmat finns på plats men man får plocka fram mat från kylskåp etc. Vi får tänka på att det är ett litet hotell så traditionellt hotellfrukost skulle nog inte fungerar. Drygt 1000m till centrum. Sammanfattning - vi kommer besöka Villa Bergli fler gånger.

Flooded bathrooms in an abandoned hotel
Reviewed By noralG8527ISPretty careless service, flooded bathroom, and with the smell and several floors out of use it feels mostly like an abandoned building with a handfull of the 50+ rooms available. Decent breakfast and good location in central town with free parking.
