Reviewed By Giovanni VStayed 3 nights, facilities are brand new (opened few weeks ago after extensive refurbishment) and immaculately clean, Vitina is super kind and helpful. Lagopesole is a small but very pleasant and quiet little town good as a Base for visits nearby, the local castle can be visited in 1-2 hours

Spotlessly clean B and B
Reviewed By HampshireBirdmanLocated in a quite side road a short distance from the town center this B and B offers a great base for exploring this area. Our room was on the first floor with views over the surrounding countryside. The room was spotlessly clean with a nice bathroom, it was well equipped with TV, fridge, hairdryer and safe. The bed was very comfortable and we good nights sleep. Breakfast was acceptable with a choice juices, toasts, cakes and pastries (slight problem for me as a diabetic - more choice would have gained the extra star). If you are going out in the evening a torch is recommended.

Reviewed By KareninCalabriaI spent 3 nights in this comfortable B&B in Lagopesole. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. The principal attraction is the castle, just up the hill from the property, and the B&B is also well situated to visit other towns in the area. A special thanks to La Dimora di Bianca Lancia for its excellent wi-fi, a feature that should be commonplace in this day and age, but which is hard to come by in Basilicata, despite the many promises of its availability. If you like horses, this place is extra special as there's the possibility of riding on the area's many beautiful trails.
