Reviewed By damianccOur party, numbering five people attended the hotel for a wine tasting session. The host and owner Sean is clearly very knowledgeable and is a natural raconteur. We all learned a great deal about wine and how to enjoy drinking it and were served with delicious foods tailored to match each wine. I highly recommend this experience, which lasted several hours in a beautiful location. Sean and his lovely wife were perfect hosts delivering a memorable and extremely rewarding experience. We fully intend to visit the on site wine store and avail ourselves the wide range on offer. Thank you HOTEL TIKAR

A place that is always there and welcoming
Reviewed By Colin KEverything from the welcome to the farewell was like visiting family, the rooms were all newly decorated and spotless. The family do all the work with a smile (only one speaks English but that is not a problem). The restaurant was shut for our visit but from what I saw in the kitchen the food will be good!.

Out of Season Stay
Reviewed By DaniDoodleWe stayed well out of tourist season, and 3 of us rented a three bed apartment (that realistically can sleep 6/7 people), and it was a really good price! Had a balcony, we were the only guests in the hotel for 2 days out of the 4 we stayed! The staff were always on hand and very helpful, they spoke good english, but we had previously lived in the area so language wasn't too much of a problem. Balcony overlooking the pools was nice (pools were very very cold though!) Less than 10 minute walk from the beach, good location if you have transport to get into Garrucha, Mojacar or further along the playa. Very nice hotel, would definitely return here in quieter times though I can imagine the pools get very busy in summer!

Muy ruidoso
Reviewed By JRCM67Nos hemos alojado del 20 al 27 de julio en un triplex de este residencial, poco recomendable. Muy ruidoso, parece que todo el tráfico pase por tu habitación. La zona es bonita pero lamentablemente muy sucia, carece de un buen servicio de limpieza, estando las calles y aceras realmente sucias. Las playas, obre todo el playazo también está algo abandonada, sobre todo cuando se comparan con las de Vera que están pegadas. Una pena en los tiempos que corren que descuiden al turista de esta forma!
