Perfect Getaway to Black Forest!
Reviewed By Bojan MGreat place! Family owned! Very friendly and hospitable people....nothing too much or too hard when asked for something. Food is top notch-so delicious; fresh, juicy and nicely cooked (and rather reasonable prices). They also gave us some interesting recommendation where to go/what to see. The location of the hotel is 15km away from Badeparadies Schwarzwald. All in all-recommend this place to anyone who would like to get relaxed on a fresh mountain air and get away from every day life.

The Altvogtshof is located in a quiet valley of the upper Black Forest "Hochschwarzwald" between Titisee and Bregtal. Here the landscape still looks like in the past centuries. The orignal Black Forest farms with cows in the pastures dominate the landscape. Away from the bustle and traffic, you can relax and enjoy the area. The Altvogtshof is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking, outings on rackets or cross-country directly from the house. Many attractions by car in 15 -30 minutes are reachable such as: Titisee, (with Badeparadies Galaxy), Schluchsee, Feldberg, Wutachschlucht, Furtwangen (Clock Museum). Excursions by car in 45-70 minutes away: Triberg Waterfalls (the longest waterfalls in Germany), Vogtsbauernhöfe Gutach, the Schwarzwalddom in Sankt Blasien, Todtnau with the longest mountain coaster in Germany, the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen (the largest plain waterfall in Europe), Freiburg, Switzerland, Alsace, Lake of Constance and Europa-Park.

This B&B is awesome because it has everything one could be looking for in this part of Germany. We spent three days here. You will be immediately impressed by your initial greeting with Max & Christoph. You feel welcomed within two minutes. Throughout our visit Max & Christoph remembered everyone's names, took care of all concerns (places to visit, guest cards, fresh breakfast every morning, etc.). Max & Christoph shared with us their efforts in creating this awesome B&B. They traveled the world for a year and visited over 300 hotels and B&Bs. They took that experience and focus on making guests feel welcome, comfortable, a good healthy breakfast, well maintained facilities, on and on . . . dedicated to you and your travel companions, family, etc. They make everyone feel part of a community quickly; families, children, singles, couples; everyone is included. They believe in friendly diversity and the results are evident every day you stay. We even saw birthday celebrations, comradery, and general friendliness among all the guests. That takes a lot of work to attain and maintain. There is a pool, lawn chess, sauna, and other games to help you relax between 4-6 hour excursions throughout the area. This B&B can easily work as a hub for 3-5 day stays. Max & Christoph have over six years of experience running this Black Forest Gem. HIGHLY recommend this B&B!

A family hotel run by an elderly couple who do not speak English but with a desire to help. They have the "red card" that give free access to many places - must check the list in the web. For a deposit you will get the card and when you return the card , you get the money back. The rooms are large and clean Breakfast is satisfying

Reviewed By Janine BDas Appartement Rehblick eignet sich sehr gut um sich zurück zu ziehen und etwas Abstand zum hektischen Alltag zu bekommen. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem nötigem ausgestattet. Heimat-feeling garantiert. Das Bad ist wie die anderen Zimmer sehr schön und groß. Das Appartement ist umgeben von idyllischen Wiesen und Wäldern und die einzigen Geräusche werden von den Tieren verursacht. Vorteilhaft ist der wirklich kurze Weg von ca. 10 min zur Stadt Titisee-Neustadt. Fam. Berger kümmert sich mit viel Herzblut um Ihre Gäste und wecken den Wunsch weitere Urlaube dort zu verbringen!!

Das Essen ist eher durchschnittlich, das Personal zwar freundlich, aber der Besitzer/Wirt immer noch ungehobelt...
