Clean and Friendly B&B on the West Way
Reviewed By LegarePension Heidi was convenient for our walking trip along the West Way. Our bedroom was clean and somewhat small, with a balcony overlooking the backyard. The food at breakfast was standard, but the owner kindly encouraged us to make sandwiches for packed lunch. Overall a good stay.

This hotel enjoys a quiet location in the spa district of Dobel, surrounded by Black Forest countryside. Hotel Rössle offers a traditional-style lounge and a spacious sun terrace. Satellite TV and a private bathroom are featured in all country-style rooms at Hotel Rössle Dobel. Some rooms also have a south-facing balcony. A buffet breakfast can be booked each morning. Drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge or the terrace. Hotel Rössle is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and skiing. The hotel sauna can be booked, and there is also a children's playground. Parking is free. The A5 and A8 motorways are within 30 minutes. Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).

Reviewed By showkit33048Nice hotel with newly renovated rooms and helpful staff. Would have been 5 stars except for ongoing construction and road work adjacent to hotel. Their restaurant is closed except for buffet breakfast which is good. We recommend staying here.

Nightstop Before Black Forest Hiking Commenced
Reviewed By NatkirlinTwo of us arrived from the UK on the Friday evening before the remaining eight friends arrived from Munich and Coburg areas on the Saturday. We arrived just as the restaurant was about to close but they agreed to stay open for our dinner order. Sitting outside on the terrace in the sun with a view of a Mare giving the young Foal lessons in trotting etc. Ideal for Saturday post hiking drinks on the terrace before dinner with beer at reasonable prices. The restaurant was busy on the Saturday but sat our group together. Although it was the start of the 2018 World Cup it was nice not to have a television in the restaurant. Rooms priced at €43.80 Single and €75.60 with breakfast were good value as well as being clean and more than happy to stay there again.

Reviewed By Anders BAfter a family emergency I tried to contact them via the existing booking.com regulations as I was trying to cancel the reservation I had made hours before for a visit 7 days later. Booking says the host has to respond to the request within 48 hours. They never did; nor did they care for my phone call or the one made by booking.com for that sake. Not trustworthy people. They take your money but do not follow the rules of engagement hoping they get away with it. They all take a 500 Euro deposit on arrival that it takes them more than a month to give back. Please do not support this kind of business.
