Very nice and affordable 2 star hotel/restaurant
Reviewed By ligt55We booked 2 nights, uncertain what to expect but if known beforehand we would have planned a much longer stay. The Vanoi valley area is / Dolomite mountains are very pretty with lots of walking and sightseeing possibilities within reach. Zortea is a small community on the mountain above Canal San Bovo (easily found if you follow the signs Prade/Lago di Calaita), rural and quiet -one can hear the churchbell ringing but we considered this not as noisy. Albergo Serenella is a very nice family style hotel/restaurant with simple but comfortable and spotless rooms with tv, private shower/toilet and balcony , free wifi and the nice staff serve wonderful food. The half board rate is great value for money! Breakfast is simple but adequate. Dinner consists of salad buffet - 2 courses of 5 choices each + dessert and everything was very tasty. Italian is the prime language but the owners speak english and an effort was made to translate the menu specially for us, being the only foreigners present at the time. We booked by email [email protected] and this was promptly handled. We heartily recommend Serenella to those who want to escape the touristy towns with large hotels piled together and enjoy a real Italian country holiday.

Eco-Baita Natura Spensierata is the place for your perfect relax break. Located in the green Vanoi Valley, in the Trentino region. A place to find yourself and to discover new dimensions. You can experiment good traditional food and italian hospitality. Place for nature lovers. Near to Dolomites ed fantastic hikings.
A little expensive for what it offers
Reviewed By thoughtfuldinerI really really wanted to like this place, and I wish all the best to Linda and Matteo, the young owners, but in my opinion, comparing what is on offer here and in other structures in the area does not justify at all the substantial premium in price they charge (over 100 euros when you can stay in similar, or actually better, facilities for at least 30-40% less). Before writing this review I purposely waited to stay a weekend in another structure in the very same valley, and also to check others, to express a more informed opinion. Essentially the facilities, though not the prices, are those of a 2* hotel, which would be OK of course if the prices were in line: no courtesy item at all in the room, no mini-bar, no kettle, etc. The room itself was a bit "cold" and undecorated (unlike the lobby/dining area) and certainly small compared to those of other nearby structures. No drawers where to put clothes, no desk (there wouldn't be the space for a desk). The TV is minimalistic, and ours wasn't working (Matteo temporarily fixed it but immediately after, it stopped working again- we din't bother him again as TV is not important to us, but I think they should check that facilities are operational). On a positive note, breakfast is really good, with excellent produce, some of it home-made, and made well!

Delicious Artisanal Pizza
Reviewed By CLAlley7I came here to pick up dinner for myself and my family (take-away because of Covid) and was delighted by the beautiful, yet quaint interior. The service was warm and friendly and as I watched my pizzas being made I was entranced by the skill of the makers. Like true artists they worked... and the result was absolutely delicious! We got 4 pizzas and liked them all so much we couldn’t decide which was our favorite! (Did I mention 4 of the eaters were young children?) I highly recommend eating here if you are anywhere in the vicinity!

Reviewed By DilettaAliTornati dopo qualche anno abbiamo trovato lo stesso clima di serenità e amore. Per chi cerca un luogo adatto al pensiero solitario, qualche camminata con la natura e qualche sorpresa questo è in assoluto il posto adatto. La baita è completamente attrezzata di tutto e i proprietari sono a completa disposizione. Noi abbiamo una bimba di 5 anni e mezzo ed è stata gestibile con passeggiate nel bosco vicino alla ricerca di nani e elfi! Tutto come in una favola. Grazie per l'esperienza fantastica.

Reviewed By julielgatoLa location(come si usa dire)situato in questa bella valle con sfondo del monte cauriol,accoglienza semplice,gestione familiare,comunque la camera pulita e nuova,nulla da ridire,spiace solo che con un l’ambiente tranquillo,ci siano dei vicini di camera non proprio ben educati,poco rispettosi..pazienza...comunque bella esperienza da ripetere.
