Adorable guesthouse located in Blainville s/mer, close to the beach and the golf. It belongs to LE MASCARET restaurant (one star on Guide Michelin) where Nadia and Philippe Hardy will welcome you with the delicatest attention. The SPA is at your disposal for a relaxation moment.
Sadly the review of the hotel has to reflect the sad dining experience we had there the previous night; after all, that was the reason for our stay. The service was warm and efficient, both in the evening and the morning. The bed and the room were OK, but the shower is impossible to use without totally flooding the bathroom. Breakfast bore the stigmata of the previous night (see my review in the relevant section). The croissants and other breads bits were clearly from the lower end of shop bought offerings. Surely a Michelin starred restaurant should be making its own - especially at 17 euros per head for continental breakfast. If these had been home made, then they really need to worry. Still, at least they were consistent.

Parking TV Wifi (gratuit)
We were two couples touring Normandy and booked this chateau for our first night. We did not know what to expect as they only have two rooms but upon arrival Vanessa the proprietor met us with a very warm welcome and could not do enough for us. I have never known anyone go the extra mile as much as Vanessa did to make our stay so glorious. From the welcome beer, beautifully laid out bedrooms, lift to a local restaurant, explanation of the area and amazing breakfast we could not fault anything. Vanessa and her husband deserve to do well as their attention to detail in making sure your stay is incredible is second to none.

we werden bij aankomst heel goed onthaald.

We stayed here during the summer of 2018 but arrived and were disappointed at the state of our room, it smelt musty and horrible, and there was mud covering the floor. The mattress was like a bed of iron and springs, and the food was stale, poorly cooked and very little of it too. EXTREMELY POOR HYGIENE AND DISGUSTING FACILITIES.
