The Hotel is a Business and Family Hotel. The Chief is Cooking for a big Restaurant and a outside Restaurant. The Town is a History Town. She is buildet to the Hugenotten 1699. She is very nice.

Reviewed By david MWe were here for medical treatment (Weber Medical) and the hotel was booked for us so we really had no choice. Very happy with the accomodation, the room was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very polite and even though we spoke virtually no German they were extremely helpful and considerate. The food is nothing short of excellent. Would happily recommend this hotel to any family or friends visiting this area.

on ebay i bought a gift voucher , the hotel could only offer me 2 nights despite having paid for 5
Reviewed By winkydinkukmy room was big and ok , however if you have bought a gutshein.travel voucher on ebay you will have problems booking , 2 weeks before i arrived here i looked on the booking facilty , almost no rooms available,,,,,as i was passiing that way anyhow i thought id give it a try.......the boss told me that he only had a room for 2 nights , anway i accepted this......i did explain to the boss , i speak passable german , that due to my illness i may not be awake in time for breakfast.....he assured me that i would be able to get a snack in the hotel bar in lieu of brakfast.....i got half a small loaf and 2 patties of butter , ni jam , ham or eggs and had to pay for coffee.....the buffet dinner was less than good , price 12 euros,,,,,the rom was very pleasant , as was the evenings piano man..........the staff here are mainly bulgrian and good luck to them , but speaking german or english was hard for them......i had a huge drinks bill,,,,,not sure it was correct bit i couldnt be bothered to wait for the boss who was always somewhere else when you needed him,,,,,and the woman who took my money spoke bery very basic german....its a lovely building

Comfortable hotel with very good restaurant
Reviewed By CharlotteKelownaWe enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, and found it to be very good. The cozy dining area is conducive to linger, and locals seem to enjoy the place for special celebrations. The menu leans towards local specialties, and we found the local trout excellent. Prices are mid-range but remain reasonable.Very enjoyable place!We cannot comment on the hotel accommodation, since we did not stay there, but the establishment looks well- looked after.

A Very Good Traditional Experience
Reviewed By barbaraanne56Arriving by train its a short flat walk from the Bahnhof to the Pension. Received a friendly welcome from the Frau of the House, who allocated us Room 25. There is no lift but the stairs are an easy gradient. Such a spacious, clean room with plenty of light and very comfortable beds. Our room overlooked the road but the town is so quiet we had a great nights sleep. There is free wifi and plenty of hanging space. The heating works well. The ensuite is a good size and the shower works well with plenty of hot water. There is a drying rack. Breakfast is served 8-9:30. Great quality and plenty of choice in a spacious room on the ground floor, nicely decorated and fresh flowers on the table. Always a lovely touch. We used our time here doing some walking on well posted routes. A highlight is the return walk (all up about 7 km) to the village of Helmarshausen. Its route is on the town map, which we got from the lady of the house. Check out the church/castle complex at Ruine Krukenburg along the way. Fantastic food at the Hessischer Hof Restaurant-see separate review. We highly recommend staying at the Pension, particularly for those wanting to experience a Traditional Pension in a small town.

Reviewed By Matthias VSehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollen Zimmern. Wen es nicht stört dass das Bad auf dem Flur ist kann hier herrlich übernachten. Das alte Haus ist top saniert und mit alten Möbeln richtig schön geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Dies setzte sich in den Zimmern fort. Wir durften bei unserer Ankunft sogar ein Zimmer aussuchen.
