Oia is carved out of the cliffs, and visitors can see houses built for Venetian sea captains as well as the more typical "cave houses" of the villagers. You’ll find the pure white buildings with colorful roofs that are typical of Greek architecture, and you’ll probably enjoy poking around the town. But don’t breeze through in an hour—you must stay for the sunset. It’s legendary. Watch from a café, or, better yet, from a boat—you’ll be spellbound.

Oia Suites hotel is built on the rocks of magic Oia village at Santorini. Oia Suites is a luxury hotel with unique design, decoration and atmosphere. The breath taking view of volcanic islands of Caldera gives to this unique hotel an unearthly sensation. Oia Suites hotel combines Cycladic architectural with luxurious stay and unforgettable Aegean sea view.Visitors can access Oia Suites hotel into 20 minutes time only, as Oia village is located near Santorini's airport (12km) and harbor (22km).Oia is globally famous for its traditional architectural with bright white concave houses, clerical alleys, magic view to Caldera and fascinating sunset, which considered as one of the most romantic sunsets of the world.
First off, the views ARE incredible, as they are anywhere on the caldera side of the island. The pool is really nice and relaxing as you can sit there and stare at the view all day. If you book Oia Suites, understand that you are paying all this money only for the view. We were a little disappointed in most other things. The room is very basic. The bed was visibly sagging in the middle and looked like it hadn't been replaced in a decade, not comfortable. The amenities in the room also basic, even the lock on the door and keys were falling apart. Breakfast was poor quality - like staying in a 1 star hotel for 1/10th of the price. You really have the feeling that the owners are out to make as much money as possible by providing as little as possible and never updating anything despite the luxury price tag. Swimming pool also freezing in September so only good for a 10 second dip. Reception staff was nice and friendly. Location is quite far from Oia unless you like walking a lot, we don't mind but I think most people would. So in summary - 10/10 views, but the rest decidedly average and kind of insulting for the price.

Bathed in the continual light of Santorini, Aeifos is a complex of seven renovated, traditional cave homes situated at the edge of Oia, next to the medieval castle. The cave homes date from just before 1900s, and they were literally carved into the rock, as was the tradition in Oia. The original cave homes were built as independent units, with own courtyard and separate access to the external stair. The complex has Panoramic Caldera view.
The views from the hotel were unbelievable. We got the breakfast that was brought to us on our patio where we could enjoy the great views. The location is right next to the castle so you don’t need to walk far to get the best view of oia or the bay. Mike was very responsive and we could text him for anything such as booking a taxi or excursion. Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed here for 4 days and what a beautiful place it is. The studio apartment was so cute, clean and perfect. The little touches were exquisite. It is a beautiful boutique style accommodation with only 7 apartments and therefore felt very personal. We had a sunset meal on the balcony and the view was amazing. It is ideally located just 15 minute walk from Oia so quiet enough from the hustle and bustle of a town. We arrived late but the owner advised us that the Greek restaurant next door would be open. Bus stop right outside meant you could take a bus to Oia if you wished to or even to Fira. More outstanding than the property or the location is the hospitality of the owner, Spiridoula. She was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Her mum made the most delicious omelettes for breakfast. Breakfast was so plentiful, it would last you most of the day. Both of them were so so sweet and made such a difference from staying in a hotel. Spiridoula made arrangements for boat trips, taxis and anything else you needed advice about. She also said if you are stuck anywhere in the island to just call her. Would definitely recommend staying here! PS. Next door, down quite a few steps, is a beautiful hidden restaurant called Meze Meze. Please do visit as the views are amazing and the food is delicious.

First off all this place is very far from Oia town. You have to hire a taxi (20 EURO one way) or rent a car. There are no shops nearby. There is only one horrible bar with nothing and it's very expensive. We were 5 people so we had 2 rooms. There were ants in one room. The second room was located on a very busy street and was impossible to function normally. There was no hot water throughout the stay and the WIFI was not working. Swimming pool is a joke. They take the money as for a 5-star hotel but in fact this place is a ruin. I strongly do not recommend it.
