Simple hotel
Reviewed By DippetyDanThe hotel is very average. The apartments are nice with kitchen, big TV and clean shower. Our apartment had a view towards the slopes, very nice. The relax room consists of sauna, som chairs to chill in and changing room. The breakfast was very average with no hot food, orange juice from concentrate, bread with cheese and ham, cereal and porridge. Thats it. Would stay here again but not if the price isn’t right.

Perfect location, excellent standard and affordable!
Reviewed By pereri66The Gästhuset i Åre exceeded my expectations in most aspects. The location is hard to beat, the keepers are very responsive and the flat we stayed in was really nice. It had two full size bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen big enough to both prepare meals and eat them, and a sauna in the cellar free for the guests. Everything was of good standard - clean and functioning. The price was very affordable and you select the service level you want (linens, cleaning). I will definitely come back if I ever get the opportunity.

Reviewed By mnpsmWe were very disappointed in our stay at this site. It could have been a good experience with some attention. The house is apparently from the 1700's and has been updated with a newish kitchen, good electricity, and a good bed in our rooms. The bathroom is cramped and dirty. The whole apartment felt dirty and not well tended. Worst of all, there was a clawing sound from and animal under the floor boards near the door at night, and the light in the basement shone through by the door. We never lifted the hatch to see if it was a squirrel or a rat. And also worse was the unfriendly sign telling us to vacuum up for ourselves at the end of the stay. For this cost there should be some professional cleaning between stays.
