Reviewed By pumbavuI think if I'd been a solo girl traveller I may have been a BIT concerned about the location. But Dahab is pretty safe... and the upper flat (suitable for solo traveller or couple) is well equipped and felt nice (fire escape like stairs up to the top). There IS noise from the mosques but it eventually fades into the background. 15 minutes walk to the main strip... and I booked through dahab.net. Wireless wasn't working well when I was there but that's small side issue.

Einfach toll! Wir kommen wieder!
Reviewed By Maik NGenau wie im Inserat beschrieben, haben wir die Wohnung auch vorgefunden. Sehr sauber, gross und gepflegt. Man hat alles was man braucht. Und wenn man irgendetwas doch noch braucht, haben sich die netten Vermieter sofort darum gekümmert. Wir haben die obere Wohnung angemietet und hatten eine riesen grosse Dachterasse. Der Vermieter organisierte die Abholung vom Flughafen, die einwandfrei geklappt hat. Wir wurden vor Ort von den Vermietern persönlich empfangen und man hat uns sofort die Wohnung gezeigt und bekam auch schon die ersten Tipps für die Umgebung. Da die Wohnung sehr zentral liegt, ist die Selbstverpflegung absolut einfach. In knapp 5 Minuten ist man dann auch schon am Meer, wo sich ein Restaurant neben dem anderen reiht und wo man auch prima frühstücken / mittag,- od. auch zu abend essen kann. Kurzum, die tolle Stranpromenade und die Einkaufszone liegen direkt vor der Tür. Wir fühlten uns gut und sicher dort aufgehoben,welches sicherlich auch an dem angenehmen Kontakt mit den Vermietern lag. Somit dann nochmals besten Dank an Beate, Ahmed und Kinder,dass wir bei Euch diesen tollen Urlaub verbringen konnten. Exactly as described in the listing, we have also found the apartment. Very clean, spacious and well maintained. You have everything what you need. And if you still need anything, the nice landlord have taken care of immediately. We have rented the upper apartment and had a gigantic roof terrace. The landlord organized airport pickup, which has worked flawlessly. We were greeted personally by the owners on site and we were shown the apartment and immediately got already the first tips on the area. Since the apartment is very centrally located, self-catering is absolutely simple. In less than 5 minutes then you are already on the sea, where a restaurant lined up next to each other and where you can also fine breakfast / lunch or dinner. City and the shopping area are just outside the door. We felt well protected there, which certainly was also due to the pleasant contact with landlords. Many thanks to Beate, Ahmed and children that we were able to spend a great holiday.
