Founded in the mid-9th century, Ulm enjoyed a long history as a free imperial city, ruled only by the Holy Roman Emperor with no pesky princes in between. An important trade town for centuries, Ulm was also the birthplace of Albert Einstein. Rising 530 feet, Ulm Minster has the world’s tallest steeple, the top of which can be reached via 768 steps. Ulm’s younger sister city, Neo Ulm (or New Ulm) lies just across the Danube River and is part of Bavaria rather than Baden-Wurttemberg.

... if you come by car parked in the best quarter of the Fischer garage ... from there you are in two minutes on foot already at the hotel ... you have more luggage you can also drive to the hotel. .. the hotel is already a force .. the owners very friendly .. since I came a little later, I got an apartment around the corner ... with the name "Above the rooftops of Ulm" ... a dream ... just great ... big ... modern ... clean .. and sure for a longer stay a force ... which unfortunately bothers me .. is the water noise what you hear everywhere ... I fell asleep with earplugs ... free fast internet ... and a very large tv ... here on the third floor there is no elevator .. so nothing for people with disabilities ... the breakfast is then in the main building .. which blow me away has .. what a decor .. modern and old combined with a great view ... very large selection and you get a fresh egg too prepares ... all in all a great stay and many thanks for that!

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip back to Ulm. The hotel is very clean with a modern feel. The rooms are cozy, but just enough space. The beds can be easily pushed together or kept separate. There is limited (and tight) parking in front as well as spaces in the back of the hotel. I would not say this is walk-able to the downtown area, which was our hope. It is in a business area (Aldi is in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel....good for snacks, water and wine), but I felt very comfortable here. Parking and wifi are free.

Sicilian hospitality meets Ulm charm. Enjoy the unique view of the Ulm Minster in one of our six individually furnished rooms or our charming and chic suite. The Mediterranean flair of our hotel's own Caffèbar & Cucina SPRESSO invites you to linger and relax with Sicilian delicacies. In addition, we also offer a large selection of food and drinks to go. In the immediate vicinity you will find the highest church tower in the world: the Ulm Minster. The church, in its imposing Gothic style and the story of creation in the colorful window pictures, can be visited and the tower with 161.53 meters and 768 steps can be climbed. In Ulm, within Ulm or around Ulm - this city offers many possibilities. From our hotel, almost everything can be reached quickly on foot or with the hotel's own bike.

We didn't stay here but had an evening meal as we stayed in the hotel opposite... Lovely welcome... Great service... The food was amazing even tho the menu was all in German with no English we all had made very good choices with what came out... My husband and I shared a meal for 2 was mixed meats like steak, spare ribs, sausage, burger, pork, and turkey which came with a massive plate of chips with a tomato rice... It was absolutely gorgeous my daughters food must of been lush too as they had empty plates come the end
