Willkommen in den Hotelzimmern der Zukunft. Vom The Lab Hotel bis zum Ufer des Thunersees sind es wirklich nur wenige Schritte. Einmal über die Strasse und schon sieht man durch die Büsche den Thunersee. Ein paar Meter weiter steht man am Ufer mit dem unglaublichsten Blick auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Über einem der drei Berge geht die Sonne auf (je nach Jahreszeit natürlich). Das Seeufer ist die perfekte Kulisse für die morgendliche Joggingrunde, gleich daneben liegt der Park im englischen Stil, die ideale Location für Yoga, Tai Chi oder die Morgenmeditation. Oder auch einfach einen kleinen Spaziergang zum Abschluss eines langen Tages.
Ego (capsule room) - clean, well designed, great bathroom but needs more ventilation.
Reviewed By maddyb123I stayed two nights in an Ego room (a capsule). The room was well designed, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. However it didn't have any ventilation except a vent above the door and was quite stuffy, even in early May. I mentioned this at check out and they said they were doing something about this. Honestly I wouldn't stay in a capsule room here in summer unless there was more air! Bathroom was excellent!! One bathroom shared for three people. Great shower! Lovely shower gel and shampoo. Location very close to stunning lake. Free buses including into town - but you need to ask at reception for bus pass. Great space and WiFi if you want to do some remote work. Lack of cafes/restaurants close by (except for what is available at the hotel) . Breakfast seemed very expensive do I are elsewhere. I feel this hotel kind of lacks identity. It felt more like a college with all of the students about than a hotel. I also found reception staff, while kind, could have been more helpful. E. G. I had to really ask about bus pass - they should mention it. Then had to probe further about where to get bus from. They also didn't mention the free Hub drink I should have got from booking directly on the website. So I would recommend focusing more on hospitality as if I had paid for a proper room, not a great value capsule, I think I would have been a bit disappointed. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

Wonderful find in Thun! Better than expected stay
Reviewed By SapphireRose88Hotel Spedition was easy to find, just around 15mins from Thun mian Station, or even faster around 5 mins walk via bus number 1 from directly outside the main station. The hotel is in a standalone building beside Coop grocery store a garden center and a cinema complex. The entrance of the hotel is via the reataurant. With regards to the room, it was new and very very clean. It also had fantastic air conditioning which was such a welcome treat as it was boiling outside. Showers and bed were fantastic. I actually stayed in 2 other 5 star hotels before I arrived in hotel Spedition and I can confidently say that the beds at hotel spedition was by far the best. I had the best night's sleep at this hotel. Breakfast was OK but perhaps just a minor feedback that it would have completed the great stay experience if the hotel kitchen offered a service where we could choose our eggs and how it was cooked. They only had hard boiled eggs. I would definitely recommend Hotel Spedition. It is one of the better Boutique hotels in Thun for sure.

Reviewed By katiet2906We had a lovely stay, staff were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived early for check in but they sorted our room out and were very helpful. The breakfast is included with the room and is delicious, especially the homemade museli! I asked for Ingrediants in English and she came back with a list for us - very sweet! Great location and would recommend to others. It can be noisy with others arriving but this wasn't for long and didn't bother us.

Reviewed By lenoselExcellent accomodation at very central location in the old town of Thun. Beautiful room with high ceiling, nicely renovated. Not cheap but worth it; room had shower and jaccuzzi (!), staff was friendly and helpful. Will likely stay here again.

Reviewed By _minstrel123_The experience was as expected, not better nor worse. The pillows are really really bad and the mattress seems too old but we knew about it already. Also, the main light in the room was not working. The bed is advertised as queen but it really is two single beds. The location is super good though. We received two small bottles of water when we entered and a nice chocolate when we checked out. A nice touch, although I would have preferred better pillows than that or even cheaper prices. Overall, decent considering the price (which is expensive but kind of normal for the area). Also note that one needs to call for checking in, even when one says at what time one going to arrive since most of the times no one is at the reception.
