Our third stay here. Host Susie, warm and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable room. We heard an owl in the night and the location is beautiful. Luxury toiletries, big shower room, comfortable chair in the room .

Clean comfortable and roomy. The fridge was stocked with some essentials which was very useful as there aren't any shops nearby. There's plenty of parking space and a huge garden. The only problem we had was that there wasn't anyone around to let us in, after a phone call to the owner the problem was soon sorted.

Valentine Studio is truly a hidden gem. The Studio itself is a true delight - warm and cosy without lacking in space (there's a sizeable main room with adjoining twin room which had plenty of space for three friends to spread out all over), charming country decor and all the touches that really make it feel like home away from home. Ros made us feel very welcome indeed, spoiling us with delicious breakfasts which set us up for long days out and about around Norfolk. The village of South Creake itself is very picturesque and proved an ideal base for exploring the villages nearby, including Burnham Market, the stunning Holkham Beach and Holkham Hall Estate. Overall, we were very, very happy with our stay at Valentine Studio and fully intend to return to next summer.

You will find us tucked away in the heart of North Norfolk in an idyllic setting looking across the orchard to South Creake church. Built in the early 18th century, Orchard Barn is Grade II listed but has been sensitively renovated to 21st century standards. Below original beams and behind traditional brick and flint walls you will find underfloor central heating and wireless connection for your laptop. There are three beautifully appointed double bedrooms, one with twin beds. Each has its own newly-equipped private bathroom with hand thrown tile floors.
We stayed in Orchard Barn B&B in the middle of June for two nights. We had an incredibly spacious double bedroom with a lovely en-suite bathroom. It was clear an incredible amount of thought had gone into making guests comfortable, i.e. brand new Egyptian cotton towels from John Lewis, lovely bedding, goose down duvet and pillow, etc. The décor and cleanliness were faultless. The accommodation also consisted of a beautiful lounge for guests to use with a DVD player and DVDs, as well as Sky TV. Breakfast was served in the kitchen of the house, which was just beautiful and gave our stay a really homely feel. There was a choice of fruit, cereal, fried breakfast, toast, etc, all of which were delicious. Our host, Trishia, was very helpful in giving us hints on where to go to eat, where to see, how to get there, etc. We also had a very friendly welcome on the Friday afternoon with a lovely cup of tea to settle us in. The location of Orchard Barn is perfect for seeing the surrounding area. All the main tourist attractions are no more than a 5 mile drive in any direction, i.e. Holkham Hall, the coast, Burham Market, etc. However, you definitely need a car to get around! Having stayed in some very nice 5* hotels, this B&B would certainly equate to 5* in my estimation; it was a home away from home and really made our weekend.

We had the pleasure of having 3 glorious nights at Hubbard's, from start to finish we were made very welcome by the wonderful hosts Bob and Inez. We stayed in Sycamore Lodge just superb luxury accommodation, the little extra touches are so beautiful. Also which was a huge bonus we had are own private garden which was superb as we had the sunshine whilst visiting. The home made cake that was left each day for us was just scrummy but the home made breakfast wow a delight ! Compliments go to the chef ! Best ever granola we have tasted and to have them delivered with a smile to the door just awesome. Set in fantastic countryside and woodland Marley our cockerpoo loved the walks around the private woods. Cannot fault one thing about this beautiful well thought out Bed and Breakfast . Cannot wait to visit again Thank you so much !

We had dinner on a Saturday night as we're staying in a b and b very close by. Website booking easy. Welcomed and attentive service throughout the meal. Staff all smartly dressed and did a super job and couldn't have tried harder. As has been said in other reviews the refurbished bar is spotlessly clean and modern in feel. This is definitely a restaurant not a pub although there are some large sofas in the bar. We had the burger. Rather dense and dry. The chips were crispy and skins on, home made. The lamb shank was beautifully tender but the mash flavoured with mustard would have been better plain. The white chocolate creme brulee had a glorious texture and a fabulous crunchy top but didn't taste of chocolate. Amazing passion fruit sorbet, a great pairing. Nice rice pudding but not enough cherry with it and would be nice to have a crunchy something on the side. Value for money, we felt it was priced at an incomer's market. The menu as a whole is all rather filling, carbohydrate heavy things, would be good to have lighter options, vegan and vegetarian or smaller plate choices, pity the diabetic!
