Haleakala B&B overlooks the beautiful Kona Coast, from Coffee country on the Big Island of Hawaii. We offer you a private cottage hale, private balcony lanai, luxury queen suite, and master bath. 180 degree ocean and coastal views from your rooms. Enjoy the sunset on tropical breezes, from your second story private deck Lanai. Relax in comfort 10 minutes from Kona and Kealakekua with some of the best beaches and restaurants only minutes away. Spend your time amid Hawaiian tropical gardens from the perfect location to start your tour of Island destinations. Beautiful, quiet and private.
We stayed at this property and had a great time on the island of Hawaii. It was a little rainy during our stay, but the host made us feel so very welcome. The breakfast options he has are outstanding and the room is clean, comfortable and has an outstanding view. We were even able to see whales (using binoculars) from his deck. If you have any hesitation, I don't know that you should, this place is outstanding.

I hesitate to write this review, but I wish we knew some of these things before we stayed here. The room was beautiful and the property was nice. The owner was very kind. However, when we arrived we learned the "common areas" were off limits after sunset and we could have no food or drink in our room or on the private lanai. This meant that when we were out for the day, when we returned we were restricted to the room for the evening. There was no where to read, relax, or listen to music. The private lanai was nice, but our December visit meant the outside was quite chilly and the lanai was not comfortable in the evening. Our hostess had a job that required her to work very late at night. She slept when she could. We found ourselves whispering most of the time so as not to disturb her. Her room was right off ours. Unfortunately, it was not an ideal situation for us.

Wow, I knew from looking at the pictures of this B&B that it was going to be lovely but nothing compares to actually arriving there. The innkeepers were all so kind and accommodating. I don't think I've ever felt more welcomed at a hotel. We asked if we could drop our luggage off at the desk early on our check in date as we were going to volcanoes national park and they generously and kindly accepted our request and even moved our luggage into our room prior to our late arrival. We arrived back at the inn late that evening and saw the most beautiful starry sky, outlook over Kona, and the ocean in the background. It was glorious. The view from the inn night and day is indescribable. The inn is so quiet and calm at night I had the best night's sleep ever! That being said, I would not recommend children or loud partiers to this inn. It is purely about relaxation and recuperation and everyone is mostly quiet and respectful. The beds are so comfortable, I'm still missing the amazing sleep I had while there. Our room had a king sized bed a tub/shower, and a outdoor private hot tub which still provided great views overlooking kona and the ocean. Our room was called the coffee cherry room. The breakfasts every morning were incredible! Started the day off with some delicious freshly ground and brewed Kona coffee grown on the plantation, followed by the freshest orange juice I've ever tasted and a yummy fresh fruit plate, all grown on the plantation or gathered from local farms. The breakfasts changed every day, but they were all incredible, healthy, and unique. For lunch & dinner the innkeepers can give you recommendations in Kona which is about a 15-20 minute from the inn. We rented a car, but we also Uber-ed one night and found it easy to get an Uber there and back. There are also some small snack shops and stores within walking distance of the inn. We were able and encouraged to explore the entire place. We were even allowed to take and eat fruits that we found. I love to do yoga and the inn supplied yoga matts as well as beach towels and beach supplies. There are so many positive things about this inn, I think I could write a whole book. I am so thankful we got to spend a portion of our honeymoon and the only con about this place is that we couldn't stay longer! We will definitely return in the future.

Small coffee farm set in a lush area near local attractions of beaches, hikes, snorkeling areas yet remote. The breakfasts are gourmet and everyone leaves the breakfast table with great ideas for the day. The big island has a lot to offer and is full of magical places. Come and experience paradise on the big island of Hawaii! We look forward to your visit at the Lilikoi Inn. Trina and Shai
Both my husband and I were delighted we picked the Lilikoi Inn for our Kona stay. Trina and Shai were fabulous hosts, from the delish breakfast Shai made for us to the morning visits around the table on their beautiful lanai. They are also extremely knowledgeable about the island and were a great help plan our daily excursions. We had a large and beautiful suite complete with a great tub and separate shower. The grounds are gorgeous too, you can even see the ocean from the lanai deck. I thought the price was extremely fair as it also included a huge fresh breakfast each day. To top it off, it's not far from the airport either. If you are lucky enough to find an open room at the Lilikoi, grab it! :)

Aloha ka kou! Here at Hale Hualalai we embrace the Farm to Table movement and it shines in our gourmet breakfast and our 100% Kona Coffee farmed and served right here on the premises. We have a small upscale Bed and Breakfast with fine suites with views of the ocean, sunset and the beautiful Holualoa countryside. Please, come and enjoy a slice of Aloha here at Hale Hualalai! ~Ricky
We had our doubts as we were driving up into the hills, but we fell in love with this B&B as soon as we stepped inside. The rooms are beautiful and huge! My husband used the jacuzzi tub to ease his aching back. The private balcony has a view of the working farm and the ocean. There was a separate charge for breakfast, but it was worth it. It is a really special place.
