Fantastic Stay
Reviewed By Adam and Ella XMy partner and I stayed at the Hallstatt Hideaway for two amazing nights in the Wren Suite. It was definitely worth it for the views alone, but the rest of the space was clean, modern and had all the essentials. Sandra especially made us feel very welcome and was so accomodating, we wish we could have stayed longer in this fairytale town.

Reviewed By AllaRudaThat was great and fantastic.we had a marvellous view from our balcony. The room was clean ,tidy with a very comfortable bed and we were almost along in the building,the price was very reasonable.we had also all to have tea party on the balcony. The breakfast was fantastic in a very old and nicely furnished hotel like in museum. The restaurant on the terrace has an amassing view and very quick service and of course tasty kitchen. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

Reviewed By ros1123234The location was great in the middle of the town near were the ferry leaves to the train. We booked the room with the lake view the view from the balcony of the lake was amazing. Breakfast was really good and fresh. One morning we had to check out early and the staff prepared for us a lovely packed breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really liked this place.

Reviewed By suzanne6004A lovely place to stay for an evening in Hallstatt. The place was renovated just before the pandemic so is in fantastic condition. We had a room at the back on first level and it was very lovely. Beautiful timber finishes. Heating was great and slept really well. Bathroom facilities are very modern and well finished with a walk in shower. Great place to sit and have a drink/coffee and watch the visitors in the Markplatz. Plenty of locals love to pop in and have a drink which shows it is a relaxed place to be. Tom welcomed us into his home and happy to sit and chat and recommend things to see and do. Served a nice breakfast - meats, cheeses, bread, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, OJ and water from the fountain. Just a note that there is no vehicle access into the town and you will need to leave your car in the carparks outside but the shuttle taxi runs constantly so no need to worry and it is only a 3-5 minutes drive to your hotel. A lovely place to stay and at the moment is still very quiet so perfect time to be there!

quiet & cozy room
Reviewed By Edward CWe stayed at the Gasthof Bergfried at the end of September. Our room was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the funicular. It was very quiet at night, and the room was cute and cozy. The room had no A/C, no facial tissues, no coffee, tea or cups (although there was a hot water kettle). The bed was comfortable. There was a small table with chairs, and a TV in the room. We could walk everywhere, and it was about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. It was very comfortable for a 1 night stay. The front desk is only open from 9am-7pm.
