Reviewed By Jay3449Lets be clear, the room was very nice (large and clean etc) BUT there's no longer any onsite food or drinks (nearest breakfast is at the cafe a few streets away!) However, it was the awfully blunt attitude of (some) of the staff that really stood out... Especially denying access to any bathrooms/toilets after you've checked out (not even the communal one in the old bar!) This really wasn't helpful for one of our group with travel tummy! Such a shame that there's such nice rooms in a pension with such poor service.

Reviewed By babamarThe place is OK for 1 night. The room was very well, the coffee room is cosy and equipped to have coffee or breakfast but there are only 4 chairs... Rooms are located on 1st and 2nd floors only accessible with very steep and narrow staircases... so it is difficult to go there with big or large suitcase.

Finding an ideal guest house in Arona does not have to be difficult. Welcome to Vila Lavanda, a nice option for travelers like you. While staying at Vila Lavanda, visitors can check out Chayofa (2.1 mi), which is a popular Arona attraction. As your “home away from home,” the guest house rooms offer a refrigerator, a kitchenette, and a sofa, and getting online is easy, with free wifi available. Inferior apartment to the one booked. No promised refund.
Reviewed By richardhQ8569BYWe booked a specific apartment within this "villa" with a terrace and sea views. One night for €100. On arrival we were shown to a different apartment. No private outside space or sea views. The man was very nice and called his boss. They said our apartment had been rented to someone else. They offered us €20 compensation which we had no choice but to accept. They said it would have to be refunded to our credit card and that is would take 48 hours. They could not pay it in cash. Needless to say we never received it. They also said they had provided towels as a freebie to compensate us. In fact the Canary Islands tourist renting laws require towels to be provided anyway. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. One of the shower cubicle doors was missing so we had the added anxiety that they might think we had damaged it. Internet and even the TV in the apartment are not included. You have to pay extra. The outdoor areas are shabby. There are neglected disused vending machines still containing out of date items. The communal roof terrace is nice with a fantastic sunset but is directly adjacent to the private terrace of the top floor apartment so you feel a bit awkward as you feel like you are "sharing" there space (There is just a simple, low fence between the two areas). Avoid this place. There are much better options in south Tenerife.

Reviewed By johnpU8848QDI'm not one to complain or write critical reviews. I'm sure accommodation is decent. Requested to change dates as I was unable to make it. Was very disappointed that Banana surf did not respond. A bit of 'good will' would have been appreciated or communication to acknowledge my emails. Sadly heard nothing.

Reviewed By Jean-Claude GDes chambres agréables et très propres, certaines avec salle de bain privative d'autres avec salles de bains communes, hommes et femmes étant séparés. Un petit établissement tenu par un couple dynamique et très attentif. Couplé avec un café restaurant qui sert une nourriture simple mais de grande qualité.
