Nearly perfect year-round weather and several impeccably designed championship courses have made Phoenix one of the top golf destinations in the world. But there's more to this mild-mannered metropolis than pristine greens and tee times. The greater Phoenix area also offers visitors an array of impressive cultural attractions. Visit the internationally renowned Heard Museum for an in-depth look at Native American history or peruse the fine collection at the Phoenix Museum of Art. Enjoy a ballet performance at the ornate Orpheum Theater or or catch a concert at the state-of-the-art Comerica Theatre. In addition to golf, the city offers access to numerous outdoor endeavors including rock climbing, hot-air ballooning, desert jeep tours and more. Family-friendly attractions, first-rate shopping, dining and entertainment, and spectacular recreational activities make Phoenix a must-visit destination.

We flew into Phoenix late at night but we knew this is where we wanted to stay from past experiences at Drury Inn. By the time we landed and picked up our rental car we didn't arrive until almost midnight. The night clerk looked like he might have been asleep when we arrived. Other than that, check in was quick. Our room was good size with a small refrigerator and a balcony. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The water pressure and temperature was good in the morning. There were many tasty choices for breakfast in the morning and the front desk clerk was very friendly when we checked out. I am sorry we did not get a chance to take part in the 5:30 kick off! I would stay here again.

The Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort is known throughout the world since 1929 for its iconic design, providing a glamorous oasis built among 39 acres adorned with lush gardens, glistening swimming pools and Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture. More than 700 refreshed guest rooms, seven sparkling pools, seven dining outlets, a 65-foot waterslide, two championship golf courses, 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a brand new Spa facility await at our luxurious and reinvented resort.
We had a memorable girls' night at the Biltmore. We started with dinner at Renata's Hearth, then went to the Citrus Club Lounge and enjoyed a drink by the fire on the patio. Traci, the hostess, was gracious, and accommodating. She made sure we were comfortable, and happy. We wandered the gorgeous grounds after and took turns spinning on the rotating chairs, falling off and laughing.

Our family gathered for a memorial day weekend while celebrating my son's 3rd birthday. We can't say enough good things about this place, gorgeous setting, and excellent service, and we were very impressed with the property's incredible views. Even more impressive was just how much the staff cared about making sure our stay was perfect, from a room with a nice view at check-in to each person's care and professionalism. Thanks to Ms. Nermina for taking the time to answer our questions. A special shout out to Sherry from In-room dining; she was so pleasant and always happy to serve us! She surprised us with a personalized note and a delightful dessert plate for my little one's 3rd birthday, which made our stay even better, so kudos to her exceptional work! Tia Carmen was so Incredible. Thanks to our server Roma! Overall, we had a fantastic time at the resort during our stay!

All 744 Suites Newly Renovated! Whether meeting with colleagues or vacationing with friends, gracious service, creative culinary delights, and unique recreational activities await. All in the midst of a tropical escape.
The prices for food and drinks are OUTRAGEOUS! Be ready to spend ridiculous amounts on disgusting, crap food and drinks. They don’t allow outside food/drinks so you’re basically held hostage. Not fun is you’re staying for more than 1 day.

The Clarendon Hotel and Spa is located in the heart of Phoenix, close to the convention center, museums, parks, shopping, theaters, sports venues and concert halls. Walking distance to two Metro rail stations - $4 for a 24 hour pass, the system runs 24 hours (except 1am to 4am Monday through Thursday) and provides direct access to the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport SkyTrain. Full service spa on site. El Techo, our gorgeous rooftop SkyDeck overlooking the city skyline and surrounding mountain ranges, and the Oasis pool area with heated pool and jacuzzi and the world's largest outdoor water wall.
Check in was easy and well explained for parking and additional resort fees. Fuego restaurant and bar on site was a nice amenity, great staff and awesome beverages and food on the main menu and during happy hour. Small lounge had live music in the evening which was a nice touch. Everything else was average and met level of expectations. Central outdoor pool and hot tub was in average condition. One area of concern was the bathroom which seems to have poor ventilation and obvious mold damage with poor coverup/patch paint job. Not a good thing for any guest, but especially anyone with health conditions or asthma related breathing problems. Overall experience is a 3 star for staff and guest service. The building/rooms and upkeep of all areas seemed to be a little bit lacking and starting to slide for a 4 star boutique hotel. Nothing spectacular for a place charging a resort fee, but for the price it was tolerable.

I stayed one night here in early March to attend the Indian Art Festival at the Heard Museum. I wanted to be within walking distance of The Heard, it came down to this place or the Fairfield Inn. I opted for Embassy Suites since it looked nicer and I’ve had good experiences with this hotel chain in the past. I think I made the right choice. The check in experience was very pleasant as the staff greeted me and stored my bag while attended the festival. When I finally checked into my room, I found it to be clean and comfortable and the perfect size for a solo traveler. The hotel has a spacious lobby, a bar, and a good restaurant, which is helpful because there aren’t many places to eat within the immediate vicinity. There are more centrally located hotels for exploring Phoenix, but if you want to be within walking distance of The Heard or the Phoenix Art Museum, then this Embassy Suites is the ideal choice.
