We live right next door to this park. We go there often just to walk for exercise because it's such a beautiful place to go. We took my Mom on a tram tour last year and it was very informative. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

This 15 acre birding and nature park is chock full of trails, ponds, bird feeding stations and serenity. It makes for a delightful respite from civilization which can be enjoyed year round. Groupon coupons are available at the time of this writing and can make the visit even more enjoyable for the economy minded. Located just south of downtown Weslaco, it is centrally located in the lower Rio Grande Valley and easily accessed. Visit one of the great local restaurants and make a days outing of it.
