When the world is normal, my wife Amy and I visit Italy almost every year. Whenever we are near Verona, we always either visit the vineyard or enjoy a night or two in their wonderful bed & breakfast. Wine tastings are always fun for us because the wine is delicious and our new friends at the tasting table are always a great part of the experience. Sylvia is simply a gem to spend the afternoon with. I heartily encourage anyone who reads this to include a night or two on the property to not only enjoy the vineyard experience, but to also take advantage of the region where Le Bignele is located to make your visit to this region as memorable as possible. The Valpolicella region produces world-class wines. Whether you enjoy a hearty red with cheese and your meal, or you like something with more body after dinner, the vintages produced by Le Bignele never disappoint. If I may, I'd begin my Verona area experience here, and take advice and direction from Sylvia and her staff for the remainder of your visit. And when possible, never miss the opportunity to enjoy the opera in the coliseum. You will want to return, as Amy and I do as often as you can.
