Such a nice place to calm yourself at the center of Vietnam's Buddhist Park. If not, even just a hike up the mountain is enough to refresh yourself, specially in Northern Vietnam where the pollution is quite serious.

I live in Uong bi at the moment and visit Ba Vang temple weekly, they serve free vegetarian food at 11:30 and at 17:30. Besides the great food, it is a truly beautiful holy site with ancient t bonsai trees like I've never seen before. Many of the walls of the temple are painted with Intricate murals of the rules of Karma and the stories of the Buddha. If travelling through Uong Bi on your way to Ha Long Bay, Ba Vang is definitely worth a visit.
