This is a beautiful site! Just visited and learned there is a damn upstream and that has reduced the water flow. Part of the river is now an empty dry river bed. A spiritual experience awaits you here if you are willing to received it.

It is so cool to see the train go over this bridge—the longest stone masonry bridge in the world. You are literally watching history come alive. Watched several trains go over the bridge from Fort Hunter. They have some porch swings set up at this location with a good view.
