The original Rakoczi Kastely (Rakoczi Castle) with adjoining museum is a must for anyone visiting Sarospatak, Hungary who want to see and learn about it's history and importance to area development. The castle, surrounding grounds and Bodrog River views are a special treat. In addition, be sure to also walk through nearby castle park, the rose garden, the canopy covered tree lined shopping/restaurant street and hillside walking paths along the river. This masterful renovation is a tribute to Hungarian pride in its past.

Huge area with lot of swimming pools from thermal sitting pool to fresh swimming pool. Very good restaurants and other facilities. A nice day out.
