My dad and I canoed here this summer, making an easy three day trip by heading up through Bagwa & Lily Lakes into Kingsmere. It was nice to get out of the canoe and have somewhere to hike to, especially somewhere so shrouded in the lore of Saskatchewan and Canada. I hear that this is not the original cabin (though nothing at the site says this), but the beaver lodge that he shared his home with is still original and intact. It is a great piece of Canadian history, and neat to see how Grey Owl lived. Quite a pretty location.
I plan to hike there this summer.
Bonus: There's a postcard at the cabin that is only available by hiking to the cabin.

We went to the Mann Gallery specifically to see the art showing of paintings by Saskatoon artist Grant McConnell. The show was very powerful and McConnell's paintings were arranged and presented most effectively and tastefully to accentuate the emotional; power of the work. I was most impressed. The gallery also had excellent accompanying material for the show, material that would be a great assistance to visitors.

We ordered form the buffet while watching the football game on the TV, Calgary was playing Toronto and were winning! Wide variety of food, lots of meat options, the beef stew was to spicy for me, however the rice was awesome, potatoes, neck bones, Greek ribs were good, variety of salads, dessert was great bread pudding and blueberry crisp! Meal price is only $14.00 each. It is worth it! Server was very nice and good!

Visited the museum yesterday during the downtown street fair. Lots to see about the history of Prince Albert, SK. I remember when the museum was the firehall many years ago.

This is an excellent facility to spend time with family and kids on warm days in the summer. Due to its recent renovations, it MORE than meets anyone's expectations of a waterslide park. I would highly recommend this facility to any families travelling to Prince Albert this summer.

My colleague and I kept postponing our visit, and got in the last day as they were putting everything away. We had an excellent personalized tour. Great museum for anyone interested in Canadian history and politics. I really enjoyed it.
