Lots of people drive up and down the Mississippi corridor without stopping in to this pretty amazing park. Located above the juncture of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers - you can actually see the murky, muddy Mississippi mingling with the St. Croix' crystal clear water. There's a visitor's center, beautiful butterfly garden, lots of playground equipment for kids ... and quiet benches overlooking the river.
