Nestled deep within the natural beauty of the Kuskanax Valley, the Nakusp Hot Springs offers over 200 acres of year round outdoor recreation opportunities. Located 12 km NE of Nakusp, the Hot Springs are nestled amongst nature's splendour, along the Kuskanax Creek. Come for a restorative soak in the mineral pools after taking a hike on the many trails in the surrounding area. Stay at our cozy Chalets or in our Campground for the full experience. Visit our spectacular Kuskanax Creek Footbridge just a short walk from the Hot Springs. The source of our mineral water and original site of the Hot Springs are also accessible by hiking trails. For the more adventurous, try a day hike to the beautiful Kimbol Lake.
We did a hike behind the hot Springs and later in the evening relaxed our tired bodies.
The changing rooms were clean and if you have any mobility issues easy to enter the pool area.
Both pools are on the small side so can get crowded in the evening so something to keep in mind.

We stayed a night here in a cottage that included access to the amenities but not sure the $350 a night price tag delivered ...sorry. Hot Springs are nice but pretty small. The swimming pool had hardly any chairs for people to sit or relax. Staff was not around to check in while we stood and wait. Nice spot on the lake but been there and done that. Just a nice small cabin with some warm water to soak in a treed hillside along a pretty lake.

This is a fabulous spot for so many activities - hiking, water sports, hot Springs visits or just relaxing at the park. Very well maintained grounds and rest rooms along with large camp sites make this a wonderful spot for camping. We had a great time, even in the rain!

Jennifer Chocolates is an artisan gourmet chocolate shop in Nakusp, BC. We make everything right here on location and very often you can see the chocolatier at work and watch our decadent chocolate creations being made. Come and let us tempt your taste buds with our famous dark chocolate truffles or enjoy summer treats like homemade caramel or ice cream Drumstix.
Jennifer Chocolates is a must to experience when in Nakusp. The aroma of freshly melted chocolate filled the senses when my boyfriend & I first opened the door and walked in. Choosing became a pleasurable difficulty! A dozen assorted truffles, a dozen salted caramels and a bag of caramels. Oh so delicious. These are chocolates to savour in a very long moment. To let it melt in the mouth and let the flavour of the truffle reveal itself. I can tell you I had to discipline myself to save a couple of the salted caramels for my two teenage sons for when I returned home. Jennifer and her employee were a delight and it is so apparent that they love what they do. A win for everyone!
