Australian Inland Mission Hospital Museum

Visit one of three remaining Australian Inland Mission hospitals - and the only one in WA! Walk through the old-style wards, duty room, kitchen and laundry to experience the atmosphere of an early 20th century rural hospital.

In this lovely town you find the renovated inland hospital that was there due to john Flynn ( who happens to be on our $20 note). There are only 3 left in Australia and Lake Grace community came together and saved it so that we were able to take our children around the museum with our lovely tour guide. Lots of interesting things to look at. Donation for entry and it is always closed but if you ask at the visitor center they will open it up for you. We were glad we went. The kids asked lots of questions. Very basic but I would advise you to have a look.

Enjoyed our afternoon stop in this nice Vineyard, it is a bit of a gem being in the wheatbelt, and was a pleasant surprise find. Had some nice wine and a beautiful food plater. Don't miss this small oasis just outside Lake Grace among the reserves of wildflowers, salt lakes, and sea off wheat fields.
