You can get up close and personal with this lovely waterfall. An easy hike will take you alongside its rapids, passing through a dense forest until you come to the base of the cascade. Give yourself some time to bask in the power of the rushing water.

This is a great hike with great views - the trailhead is a little difficult to find - look for the green sign on the west side of the road just north of the bridge - the first part of the hike is pretty tricky up through the creek - lots of scrambling or as alternative, take the dirt road that is closer to the bridge (it says private property but is open for hiking) and this dirt road meets the trail. This is also the "high water" route if the creek is too full of water. We went up the creek and then back down the road. The trail is up steadily and took us about 1.5 hours to the summit with a couple of stops for photographs, we are "average" hikers. Down was quicker but harder on the knees! View from the top was great with smattering of fall colors on the different mountainsides. Not too many people at all BUT parking is limited at the trail head on the roadside so get there earlier if it is a weekend.
