Park offering easy hiking trails.
I took my nephew camping here when he was four years old. He is now six and always asks when we are headed back. There is hiking, biking, swimming and when we were there, an exhibit on ash beetles was on display. Perfect family weekend spot and a great way to support your local parks!

The biggest single ski mountain in the eastern United States.
Mountain is great! Aside from a few “flat” runs, it’s a great mountain. Only downside is long lines for the lifts. They should install the scanner machines to someone doesn’t have to physically scan each persons ticket.
The village is awesome and very quaint. Nice to walk through after riding all day.
The ski school was great for my 4 year old. He had a blast. We dropped him off in the morning, got ourselves ready and waited for the lifts to open it was nice to know he was in good hands while we went on our own.

Husky Works Mushing Co. provides dog sledding adventures in the southern Green Mtns. of Vermont. Located just minutes from Mount Snow and Stratton ski resorts. Come experience winter as never before. Be pulled by a team of Siberian huskies on the ride of a lifetime.
Laura, Jeremy (owners) & Larry were all awesome. Very down to Earth, knowledgable, & fun - can clearly tell they love what they do despite it being a lot of work. They have close to 40 dogs on site, all of which are beautiful, friendly and well cared for. Such a cool experience to see so many dogs doing what they love to do as well- on a gorgeous property, with great cookies and hot cocoa. Really unforgettable must-do experience. Thanks guys!

A specialty beer shop featuring over 300 quality bottled beers and growler fills from up the road to around the world. All rounded out with a selection of ciders, meads, wines, artisanal cheeses and Vermont products.
One of the best craft beer and cider shops you will find anywhere. It is easily the best I have found in southern VT. If you want cheap beer for your ski party, don't go here. This is for beer people looking for the next great thing or their hard to find old favorite. Plenty of local brews, but don't think this is just about VT. It is a worldwide selection. Would love to see them expand the cheese section, but then Yelp would have to change to allow 6 stars! Just. Go. Now.

Small, clean campground. Nice hiking trails. Bathrooms are a definitely why I would not return to this campground. Bathrooms extremely small. Have to sit sideways on the toilets in both the men and women's bathrooms. The water barely trickles from the women's shower, then men's shower was good. One sink and one hook in all bathrooms and limited shelving so its difficult for more that one person to utilize the bathroom. All the bathrooms are uphill to most campsites. The park ranger is a bit of a stickler and frequently discourages parking near the bathrooms or even when to pick up ice. For whatever reason they put the children's basketball court directly in front of the fire wood shed. So its difficult to drive and pick to pick up wood without worrying about the children. All the sites are small and close to adjoining sites.

This looks like a house, but inside it's room after room of paintings, sculpture and especially prints. The owner, Elaine Beckwith, knows a great deal about printmaking and has a huge collection of beautiful prints. A visit to this gallery is like going to a museum. A great thing to do if it's raining out and you want something beautiful to look at and think about.
