Well, is not a city park like everyone else. It's the remains of a 19 century spa for rich people so its more like a strolling park with very few plantations except for trees. On the shore of Vättern, very close to the rest of this very nice village almost entirely built with wooden houeses, cottages. Nice salong for beverages and some light food called Eijras salong.

Vad roligt att se att Bisonfarmen i Gate blivit reggad här på Tripadvisor! Jag har försökt lägga till farmen under flera år, men varje gång fått svar typ "uppfyller inte kraven".
Nu har jag ännu inte i år besökt farmen, men 2016 och 2015 slumpade det sig att jag och mitt sällskap övernattade i Hjo i augusti och fann att eventet Wild west gick av stapeln. Vilken härlig fest och upplevelse! Dessutom massor med bra musik och härlig stämning. God mat och ett mycket fint bisonkött som slank med hem. Det var en upplevelse att på så nära håll få se bisonoxar och kunna fotografera dem. Ett besök här är värt en omväg när man är på resa. Rekommenderas.

This was an amazing experience! We especially enjoyed the hatch inside that lets you plunge into the freezing water when required. It was very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Tips: don’t forget your towel, water bottle and Bluetooth speaker if you want sounds. Tack så mycket!!

Hökensås Golf and Country Club is located 7 km south of the wonderful small city of Hjo. A wooden town just by the lake Vättern. Hökensås Golf and Country Club overlooks the lake Vättern and is one of the best and most spectacular slopes in the west of Sweden. Hökensås Golf and Country Club has its own BoB, its own Camping- and Stellplatzsite, its own restaurang and shop. Here You can stay on a package, or just come to play our 27 holes over the day. Most welcome.
