I've written a review and now would like to share some pictures we took. This covered bridge , especially the view around is really fantastic when all the trees turned red and the Contoocook River is full of water. Anyway, the photos are self-explanatory.

Pats Peak is a great family friendly mountain with day and night skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing. It is one of the state's most accessible learn-to-ski-and snowboard mountains and is one of the largest night-skiing facilities in all of Northern New England. With trails for all ability levels, terrain parks and snowtubing there is something for everyone. Pats Peak has everything you need with rentals, ski/snowboard lessons, kids programs, childcare and more. 100% snowmaking coverage guarantees great conditions all season long. Kids 5 and under ski free anytime when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
My son and his friends thoroughly enjoyed the mountain. They skied 2 days from 3-closing for the pay one price that included skis, snowboard, tubing, rentals and lift ticket. Such a deal even my 17 year old and his friends asked to ski later because of the cost. The employees were not sure on the pay one price deal and didn't seem to know that you could purchase them earlier starting at noon for $10 per hour... also didn't tell us that we needed to let them know we needed rentals... first day was very confusing because of that. Husband and I hung out in the lodge - upstairs is mostly quieter than downstairs and has a fire going. Ate at the pub which was good though food is pretty pricey overall even in the cafeteria.

I used to live in town and on a recent trip back we found the brewery and we are so glad we did. They had a lot of interesting beers to chose from. A fun open environment to hang out and enjoy some time with friends. They even had some table games to help pass the time while your enjoying the local tastes. They also serve the beer flights in a muffin tin which is super fun and creative.
