This is one of the social areas of Cordoba, a lively place at night. Nearby hotels offer a cool place to sit, eat, and view the local scene in the evenings.

If you're visiting Cordoba you can't miss the coffee museum in the very heart of the town. it owns a reproduction of a typical "finca cafetera" with many coffee plants of different varieties and exposition of old machines and tools once used to prepare coffe. There is also an interactive section were you can learn about the story of coffee, and how it goes from the plant to the cup. finally the best part: sensorial experience, discovering different ways to make coffee (filtration!), different flavors coming from different toasting, varieties, etc. Everything was well explained (in Spanish, no idea if they can speak English) by coffee loving people that really knew the everything about coffee. And it was only 50MXN to get in an learn a lot! Don't forget to buy something to help this good initiative and sustain local producers!
Per gli italiani di passaggio: da non perdere! e cercate la moka Bialetti per un momento di orgoglio e nostalgia di casa :-)

The older than 100 years (Centenario) theater is the main venue for quality Performances in town. It has been renovated a number of times most recently in the past 15 years, it was a movie house ('50s to '70s) and recuperated to be a modern Theater. Perhaps it most notorious as it is the main venue for the yearly "Emilio Carballido Festival", named after Mexico´s most renowned playwright, which takes place during August. The inside of the building doesn't have any remarkable features for the lay person, however it might be interesting to visit it's facade and entrance
