Hi,we were in Bella Coola Valley in the first week of september 2019.We have seen a lot of Grizzly's within this time.In Hagensburg we met a grizzly female with 2 cups in a garden.Finally she wanted to cross the road to visit a garden more.We did not leave the car but were successfull to take a lot of spectacular photos of the bear-family. Tip: If you want to take photos of grizzly's nearby without running in danger,visit the "Benarko" platform nearby the Hw20 on the left side of the road,short distance after you have done the "Hill"in direction to Hagensburg-Bella Coola..It is a platform with electric fence,you can take a lot of spectacular photos.You can stay there as lng as you like without paying a lot of money. We stayed at this place two times and took again a lot of spectacular photos from several grizzly's only ten to twenty meters of distance.It would be nice to give some dollars to the stuff,who takes care of you over the time.Good luck.

Recommended by Visitors Centre at Williams Lake. 1 hour drive from William Lake including some gravel road. Spectacular view. Must see.
