We were surprised to see some major improvements to this Trail, not the least of which was more parking space at the Trail Head and an even bigger surprise 1/3 of the distance along the Trail. The latter was a large Toilet Facility, complete with skylights.. cf my pic of the Still under construction project. Given the easy and somewhat encouragement sections of the Trail present to motorized vehicles, I.e. destructive Quads, it is hoped they will take the necessary measures to prevent their entry. The distance to the Peak will take an hour or less ... more depending on your pace and stopping for Kodak Moments. For us this is still a must do when in Burin. The view of the large Burin Inlet to the west and the surrounding harbour to the East is impressive . The Best View !
