I have been twice in the last year on my way through Ohio. Tons of cheese with unique offerings such as cheeseburger cheese & siracha cheddar. Cheese prices are reasonable including cheese curds (no fresh mozzarella) & spreads. Lots of snack & condiment choices. Although the snacks are $2-$3 dollars above average, I enjoyed the guacamole bites, flavored sesame sticks, & mustards. Jerky was good but overpriced for the small package. Candy shop across the parking lot was amazing. Double chocolate pretzels & sea salt caramels are delicious. Staff was friendly & efficient.

I used to play golf and tennis at Brookside when I lived in another town and was so impressed with how much the park was used and maintained that it was one of the main reasons we moved to Ashland.
It truly is a testament to a town that keeps its parks up and has awesome concerts and events throughout the summer. Keep up the good work!

If you are looking for quality antiques, decorating ideas, and very nice store owners, visit the Gleaner. I have been a customer for years and love to visit. I have found furniture items and holiday decorations at the Gleaner. A stop at the Gleaner will not disappoint.

Saw sign for preserve shortly after exiting I 71 on south 42 and decided to take a look before stopping for lunch in Ashland. Park has a couple miles of trails through swamps, forest, and wetlands, including a large burr reed marsh. Had the place to ourselves. Take park map along with you, as it seems to be the custom in county preserves to not mark trails. Also, the park remains open during both bow and gun deer season so wear orange and be cautious on the trails during times listed at the park information board. There are 15 other county parks in the system to visit as well.

Masterminds Escape Room and Game Library is the first escape room experience in Ashland County, and the only Game Library and Escape Room combination in the state of Ohio. We strive to grow minds and social interactions between family, friends, and first time gamers of all ages.
The staff is wonderful and the food is cheap. Fun time for family’s and friends. I love to come here with a group of friends and spend time playing games.
