This spotlessly clean campground is located on the caloosahatchee River. A great place to kayak or fish. Electric and water hookups at each site with a dump station as you exit. Most of the sites overlook the water, unfortunately we had an inside site that faced another site. Lots of trees for shade, covered picnic tables and fire rings. Also boat slips for boat camping too. Paved pads for parking and the bath house was spotless. Host campers are available if you have an issue, entry with combination code at locked gate. Use your America beautiful pass for half off $30 per night fee.

There are several trails you can choose to hike. All well marked and easy to follow. We did several and our hikes combined were roughly 5 1/2 miles

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Park was very clean and taken care of. We stayed in site 25 right by showers and restrooms.

Opened fall of 2007, this Signature Davis Love III design is their first in the Florida market. The layout stretches over 7,000 yards from the tips and adheres to Love’s design philosophy that “modern courses should be designed in a traditional manner, with emphasis on strategy and playability, and where creativity is reflected in the subtleties of design detail.”
Played this course recently twice w two friends on a golf vacation and it was a really good experience. The friendliness and cordiality of the staff, the forgiving fairways, challenging distances & hazzards made for very enjoyable rounds of golf. Of the 6 or 7 courses we played, this was my favorite. And it's a beautiful course. My two friends ranked it as their second favorite but I ranked it as the best.
